So [There's a bit of a lazy drawl. If anyone recognizes this voice and knows the owner, they can detect a hint of agitation and a growl] is it a common thing to be sent back to one's world and then come back to this one?

[Because guess who that happened to. Not that Leona recalled anything concerning Escordvi back home, but he's feeling the whiplash from going to one annoying incident to another.]

Seems that it's a more common occurrence than one could hope.

No one yet knows the reason behind the Rift's decision, but most come with their memories intact.

Has there ever been anyone who's been brought back from leaving here with no memories of this world?

There has been, in fact. A dear friend of mine from the star I departed from. He couldn't recall a single memory of the time spent here before. Yet my memories remained.

So, you think it can be due to a process of selection? I don't see any advantages of erasing one's memories but keeping another's when it comes to being in this world.

[Unless that other guy happened to know something this one doesn't.]

Had I known the reason for the selection, I may have been able to put a stop to it, however ideally that may seem.

There seems to be no connection or pattern to who comes and goes from this world— it's a mysterious yet to be solved.

Ever considered the idea of them getting "bored" of people and deciding to send 'em back?

[The idea is funny even to him, but it's also something to consider given how this world can be. People come and go, but then some people return with memories intact. Others, not so much. It does make him wonder what "conditions" are implemented when they decide who to bring.]

The thought was crossed once or twice. Perhaps they have a cruel sense of humor.

Has anything changed for during your time away? I cannot seem to recall anything that happened during my absence here.

Neither could I. There'd be snippets, but it felt more like a blur or a dream otherwise.
