I've been thinking about something lately and I figure I might as well ask the rest of you for a bit of advice.

I realised it's coming up on a year since I met my partner, pretty soon here. I've never really dated anyone seriously before, or paid much attention to these things at all if I'm honest.

What sort of thing do most people do for a first anniversary? How… big of a deal is it generally considered to be? I don’t want to go overboard or anything but I’d like to do something nice.

Maybe some of you could share traditions from your worlds?

You know what, sure, but I'll switch over here so he doesn't see me talking about him. This is Faulkner.

I was testing one of those cameras out for Kaveh, and Hawks stepped in the way of one of my shots. I asked if he wanted to pose and then we got to talking.

I was curious if he could fly with those wings and he decided to answer that by picking me up and flying off. Which was admittedly a little bit terrifying.

But once I was pretty sure he wasn't going to drop me we talked a lot more, and he helped me get some impressive shots of Eltrut from the air.

Then he offered to buy me coffee and we spent a while at a little cafe. He was very sweet and we made plans to keep spending time together.

You think you're getting cavities? It's been a year and this man still brings me chocolate every time I see him.

I may have been exaggerating a little. And I cook for him and whatnot a lot. Try to make sure it evens out.

Well, to be fair I was never really on serious dates before him. Guess I haven't got much to compare to, but I am very happy.

and to be fair to myself i was tck on the moon so the dating pool was pretty small

anyway the important thing? you both being happy. that's all that matters!
