Subject: Relationship advice?
Warnings: N/A just a guy being sappy

I've been thinking about something lately and I figure I might as well ask the rest of you for a bit of advice.

I realised it's coming up on a year since I met my partner, pretty soon here. I've never really dated anyone seriously before, or paid much attention to these things at all if I'm honest.

What sort of thing do most people do for a first anniversary? How… big of a deal is it generally considered to be? I don’t want to go overboard or anything but I’d like to do something nice.

Maybe some of you could share traditions from your worlds?

Thank you.

I'm not real good at any dating stuff, but I heard some things from my friends back home before.

What kind of stuff do you guys like doing normally?
ohwowzers: (I can't believe you've done this)

Well, I can't really say for sure what might be a good date idea, but when I'm hanging out with friends, we usually have some kind of movie night or go out to eat somewhere together. We'd also plan some kinda outing so we could let our Pokemon have some fun, but I don't think that would work for you.

Gah, if I had my sister's manga, I might be able to get some more ideas for you.
ohwowzers: (Eheheh...)

Yeah? Well, maybe you could uh... they have other types of fun activities here? Instead of a movie or something.

Oh! Right, well, manga is a kind of comic that's pretty popular where I'm from. It's different from other kinds of comics though, since it's a specific Kantonian style. They tend to confuse folks who aren't from Kanto, Hoenn, Johto, or Sinnoh because they're read right-to-left instead of left-to-right.
