Does anyone know what's the quickest way to treat nausea? I haven't been feeling well lately.

[He doesn't even know anybody with a healing vision. As for people here...He's not sure either.

He kind of wishes he'd gotten healing magic, from his tattoo.]

That may be why you got sick so suddenly.

[He said with a groan before holding back his stomach. He could feel an urge of nausea that was coming up and suddenly found himself covering his mouth once more.]

I'm sorry, I think I need to sit down. This isn't going away anytime soon.

Please, sit if you need to. This is about your health, not my comfort.

[He's thinking for a long moment.]

Freminet, I have an idea, but only if you're alright with what I'd have to do.

[He didn't waste any time and simply sat down. But once he did?]

I can take a picture of the wound to go ask a healer here what can help with it. You won't have to talk to them at all, but I'm not sure we want to ignore that.

And if we already have instructions, when Lyney finds out--I'm not going to tell him but he will find out--there's already a set of things for him to do to help calm him down. Sound like a plan?

[He didn't mean to but he winced at the fact that his brother was going to know. But he didn't have a choice. It was either tell Kaveh now and that Lyney could help him or face his (imagined) wrath later.]

...I guess so. I don't think I have a choice unless I want to make you or my brother fret even more.

[He said before looking down at the wound and gave a long sigh. How did he get himself into this mess?]

...I know. It's not very comfortable to be fretted over.

[Kaveh smiles a bit, but he'll crouch down so he can get a picture of the wound on his shellphone.]

But...I worry because I know how awful it is to be sick and injured alone. I don't want you to have to do that, even if I know you probably could.

[And then there was a long pause. It was clear that Freminet wanted to say something but he was hesitating.]

Ms. Kaveh, I'm sorry for asking but did...did my brother tell you to look out for me?

[After all, it felt weird knowing that there was someone out there who was acting very much like a caretaker right now. Outside of his own siblings, he just couldn't quite understand why someone would go out of their way to help him.]

He did. But I'd do this even if he hadn't.

[He straightens up, with a bit of a wince as his spine pops. He is too young for his bones to make those noises! (It is the fact he has the posture of a large shrimp.)]

...I know it's probably weird. You're not the first person who's thought so. But I'd like the world to be kinder than it is...and the easiest way to do that is be kind myself, you see?

[It was easier said than done. He wanted to be kind to others for the sake of having them see miracles in life. Although, when it comes to others being kind? He wasn't so sure.]

....Even if it means others taking advantage of you? I know I said it before, but I really don't understand how you can live by that.

I can't say it hasn't happened before. And I've been told that I can't save everyone. But...

[Kaveh shrugs a little.] I'm sure that when I'm tired and at my worst, there will be someone who helps me, too.

[It was then that he gave a long pause looking down at the wound. He really didn't know how to respond and gave a sigh instead.]

....I just hope that day does happen. You're much too kind but I can see why Lyney told me to trust you.

...I don't know if I'm really that kind. But if I want the world to be a kinder and beautiful place, then I have to put the work in myself, yeah?

[He does smile a little.]

I'll come back from the doctor soon. The thermos is just chicken broth--if you can stand it, it will help get some nutrients in you.

Then probably you'll be able to find your miracle someday. I highly doubt such kindness won't be repaid somehow.

[There was so much Freminet wanted to say but he couldn't. He wanted to tell him the horrors he had seen and done for the sake of trying to make a world a better place. Or at least, in the minds of those who worked with the Fatui anyway.

Instead, he'll give a nod before attempting to look at the thermos.]

...Just be careful. You already done enough and I'll be sure to pay off my debt to you.

It did before. That doesn't mean my work is ever over.

[He pauses on his way out the door, and then smiles.]

The only thing you have to do to pay me back is be kind to people, even when it's scary.

[Was that really all he had to do? Again, it seems easier said than done but...]

...Just saying that alone already makes you much nicer than most people I met back home.

[He could allow himself to just say that, right?]
