Pardon me for intruding on your time, but I've a question or two. If you'd like to humor my curiosity, you have my thanks in advance.

Upon arrival, we've found ourselves aligned with a group without much say in the matter. While I'm most curious about what colors we've flying - so to speak - I'll not ask anyone to speak it out loud.

However, I am curious if you think you "belong," for lack of a better word.

Idle curiosity. Nothing more.

If I may ask, what is it that you travel for? What is it that you seek?

In regards to your other comment, I am finding this to be fairly common. At least I haven't come across anyone that is so opposed to the company that they find themselves in.

I've been looking for my sister... Before we were separated we used to travel together.

I see. I think as long as we are going to work together, things will turn out okay. Or at least that's what I want to believe in.

A lost sibling. You have my heartfelt sympathy. It is a difficult thing, to be parted from one's family.

[ Something that G'raha is familiar with. That he continues to be familiar with. For part of his heart is in the Source and the other on the First. ]

Now I'm certain that if we stick together then that will be the case. There's little reason why we should all be strictly opposed to one another.

Thank you. But don't worry, I know that one day we will be reunited.

I think so, too. We're all in the same situation anyway, even if we're in "opposing" factions.

Even if that may be the case, this must still be a setback. I know that I would find myself quite irritable. In that regard, you seem to be fairing better than I would.

[ Considering what he did when he thought the people he considered family had passed on. Or close to it... ]

Anyway, yes we are. The majority of us wish to return to where we hail from, I imagine.

I suppose I just try to focus on the positives. I'm not alone in my journey, I get to meet all kinds of different people, see wonderful places...

[He is very much worried about his sister, but at the same time he tries to chase the small sparkle of the light. If he stops, the darkness may swallow him otherwise.]

That wouldn't surprise me. Everybody misses their home.

[Aether is no different, except his "home" is with his sister, his only family.]

That is a rather healthy and wise outlook to have. Not everyone could think of this separation in such a way.

[ In truth, he misses Lyna. Terribly so. He knows that there are ways to pass on messages to and from the First but... There is little chance that they will ever see each other again. ]

Being sad doesn't really resolve anything, so I like to stay positive.

[What else can he do? Thinking too much about loneliness inside his heart would make it difficult on him, on his friends, too, probably.]

While it might not be the most productive of emotions, there is still a place for it. To not allow you to feel it at all isn't...

It isn't what any of us should aim for.

I just want to focus on things I can do instead of those that I have no control over.

Which is still a noble idea indeed.

I'm not sure if it's noble, but it's been working for me so far.

So then what do you think of this place so far?

Well, I'm trying to get familiar with it. I quite enjoy exploring new places, I met some nice people, too but I can't say much more beyond that for now.

Mayhap some time in the future I may inquire about these "new places" that you speak of.

Of course. I will be happy to share stories from my adventures.

Oh good! A friend of mine happens to be an adventurer. Oft does he recall the various places he has traveled to and I am always delighted to hear of them.

Then you'll have even more stories to hear, then. I'm curious what's your world like, so if you don't mind, we could exchange stories!

I would be more than happy to exchange tales and stories. It wouldn't be proper to ask it of you and not offer the same in exchange, if there is interest for it.

I'm always happy to listen, but really, I would be fine even if you didn't offer the same in return.

I've met all kinds of people during my travels. I know that not everyone is keen on sharing stories.

Quite true. I would never ask anyone to share who wasn't willing.

Yet when a star is on the brink of ruin, 'tis those very stories that give hope and light to where there is despair and darkness.

That is true... but hopefully, we won't experience anything that extreme here.

One would certainly hope not!

Though I suppose appearances could be deceiving.

That is true... Let's just hope for the best, I guess.

Tis all one can do, really. Quite frankly, this has been a change in myself. I can see many possibilities that didn't exist before.
