Pardon me for intruding on your time, but I've a question or two. If you'd like to humor my curiosity, you have my thanks in advance.

Upon arrival, we've found ourselves aligned with a group without much say in the matter. While I'm most curious about what colors we've flying - so to speak - I'll not ask anyone to speak it out loud.

However, I am curious if you think you "belong," for lack of a better word.

Idle curiosity. Nothing more.

I cannot truly say so, but I am with people who I know so perhaps that makes me a little more comfortable than I would usually be.

Still, fortunate that you have companions at your side. At least that might set your heart at ease.

I guess then, yes. I'm not unfamiliar with the behavior of my group. It's just not behavior I tend to find myself engaging in.

Yes, it does. Especially this way I can keep an eye on them for they are the type find themselves involved in something troublesome.

I see. If that's how it is, I feel quite similarly. There's quite a bit I, myself, would not care to engage in. Though the same goes for the other side of things as well.

Full glad am I to hear that you can look out for them. Am I correct in assuming that they might have a need for that?

Not quite that, no. There are some portions of the ideology that do not align well with my own.

However, there are other aspects that I find are more suitable than the opposite side of things has to offer.

I believe that you can. Though I meant more along the lines of "fitting in" in this context.

Tyr? Might I ask who you may be referring to?

Tyr is the god of justice from my world. He is the god to whom I have sworn an Oath to, who in exchange grants me my powers as a paladin.

So you see, as I am a paladin in my own world, I find it especially fortuitous that I was assigned to the crew of the Royal Fortune.

I actually crash landed in the ocean, but I was recruited by the Corsair.

I don't know, the thoughts of freedom, the ability to explore and seek out adventure? Sounds pretty good to me, so maybe that means I fit in just fine.

We are of a similar mind! I, too, feel that need to explore the new and unknown. Without reservation and limitations!

Why be limited? I mean, if I wanted to follow a bunch of rules, I'd have stayed home probably. But no one's here to tell me I can't so.

...I dunno. I really like being free and sailing, but some of the things I hear about the guild scare me a little. I don't want to hurt anyone.

Aye, that is a concern I can relate to. It is one that I've had myself observing some of the others.

However, there seems to be a growing number of individuals that enjoy the freedom, but not necessarily the self serving nature that seems to go with it. That may be enough to eventually change things for the better.

It's a bit difficult to feel like I belong somewhere when I've been travelling pretty freely for as long as I can remember.

It seems that the group I ended up with shares some of my ideas, but sadly, it can't be said the same for all of the members of it, as far as I am aware.

If I may ask, what is it that you travel for? What is it that you seek?

In regards to your other comment, I am finding this to be fairly common. At least I haven't come across anyone that is so opposed to the company that they find themselves in.

I've been looking for my sister... Before we were separated we used to travel together.

I see. I think as long as we are going to work together, things will turn out okay. Or at least that's what I want to believe in.
