Pardon me for intruding on your time, but I've a question or two. If you'd like to humor my curiosity, you have my thanks in advance.

Upon arrival, we've found ourselves aligned with a group without much say in the matter. While I'm most curious about what colors we've flying - so to speak - I'll not ask anyone to speak it out loud.

However, I am curious if you think you "belong," for lack of a better word.

Idle curiosity. Nothing more.

I see. If that's how it is, I feel quite similarly. There's quite a bit I, myself, would not care to engage in. Though the same goes for the other side of things as well.

[ He doesn't care for people that are too strict when it comes to rules. But he also doesn't like those "unsavory" types either. ]

Full glad am I to hear that you can look out for them. Am I correct in assuming that they might have a need for that?

Something like that. It's a little more that they tend to run head first into things alone, without considering that there's strength in numbers and no one should ever have to do it alone.

I tend to be the person to remind them of that.

There are times where I'm the one that is need of reminding of that fact. Though my friend is also of the same mind from time to time.

Once, I could understand. But after multiple times, don't you think having to be reminded weighs heavily on those who worry about you?

I do want to be honest with you. It's not enjoyable for me in the least.

It is, for better or worse, not so easily done. To change one's personality - especially a core one - is no simple task.

The real question is... That aspect may be linked to a trait you find to be agreeable. What if changing one alters the other?
