TWO TRUTHS AND A LIE

There have been a lot of riftfarers arriving lately. It seems like there have been more arriving than usual. So many different kinds of people from different kinds of worlds with stories to tell and experiences to give.

A little game has appeared on the shellphone network in hopes of getting to know just a little more about these otherworlders. You might find it on your shellphone as you’re scrolling through one day.

Tell the world two truths and one lie about yourself. And let others try and decipher which of the three is your lie. If they can guess right, perhaps you’ve been able to make a new acquaintance. Or in the least learn more about someone from another walk of life.

It seems the one easiest to mislead, even if not a complete lie. Perhaps you only consume one or the other, or you've taken no joy in it.

My next guess would have been two, considering the stipulation of it 'always' being so.

The second one is totally true though, I always aim for the nuts whenever possible if I'm fighting a guy it is an easy win after all!

I would never have guessed one. Even for the brutal, it seems unlikely one would lie about the final act of a friend. If that much is true, then I am sorry you lost them in such a way.

Though it does beg the question, what precisely are you? Vampire, demon?

Don't really know honestly but Miss Makima called me a "hybrid" so I guess that makes me half human, half devil I guess?

Still, such open claims regarding your source of power may leave some anxious, or worse. I would be more cautious with whom to share such knowledge, were I in a similar position.

No worries there! I know what I am and wouldn't be where I am today if I wasn't so special, Miss Makima would have no use for me otherwise as much as that sucks to say out loud.

I'm a devil hunter for Public Safety. We kill both devils and fiends who go around fucking stuff up and make sure they do not hurt any people back home. Its a tough job but someone has to do it and its a better life than what I used to have that is for damn sure.

Well its a long story but I used to work for a yakuza boss paying off my dad's debt after he died as a devil hunter. Turns out he was a devil himself and hated us hunters so he got his idiot zombies to cut me and my pet devil Pochita up and toss us in a garbage can since he was the Zombie Devil.

Yeah, Devils! They roam across the world and feed of people's fear of them. Some are way more powerful than others depending on how scary they are.

Naw my dad was just some asshole no one special at all. But me? I found Pochita hurt and gave him some of my blood to heal himself and made a pact that we would help each other survive in this fucked up world together so that is how I became a devil hunter to pay off my idiot dad's debt.
