TWO TRUTHS AND A LIE

There have been a lot of riftfarers arriving lately. It seems like there have been more arriving than usual. So many different kinds of people from different kinds of worlds with stories to tell and experiences to give.

A little game has appeared on the shellphone network in hopes of getting to know just a little more about these otherworlders. You might find it on your shellphone as you’re scrolling through one day.

Tell the world two truths and one lie about yourself. And let others try and decipher which of the three is your lie. If they can guess right, perhaps you’ve been able to make a new acquaintance. Or in the least learn more about someone from another walk of life.

Hm! He is. His name is Shoto Todoroki. His quirk allows him to use both fire and ice.

Won't that mean the ice just melts? It is amazing he can use both but it is interesting to see such contradictory powers...

It doesn't! He actually has great control over both of them whenever he needs. He can use bursting flames one moment and then create a massive ice wall the next. He's worked hard to control both! And has made it all his own.

[Izuku is so proud of his bestie.]

I'm sorry, I'm not really food with conversations so I'm not really sure what to do next.

Well... How about this? Tell me about a few things you like to do? Hobbies and things like that? Then I can tell you mine.

If I do, promise you won't laugh? I have to admit, a lot of the things I like might be a little childish.

I think some of my hobbies are probably the same? At least... my friends always say I'm a nerd.

Probably because I am one. But that's alright.

Because I like things like heroes and comic books. Movies and tv shows that feature heroes of all kinds...!

I guess it's kind of the same thing for you. You also like a lot of fairytales and daydream sometimes too...

Yeah... yeah, I do. I think I daydream a lot.

Do you have a lot of daydreams?

Normally about Pers and how often he saves the other penguins in Penguin Town. It's a little childish but I like to think I'm being productive about it.

Ah? Pers and Penguin Town? Is that a story you follow?

More that it's a story I made up.

And that I hope that I can find a conclusion to one day.
