You guys saw that alchemist asking for help "bringing back" his wife, right?

Well, he didn't. He created two new wives instead. You've probably seen them attacking the populace.

I don't know if he's ordering them to do this or if they need to feed on men or what, but if they don't please him he'll kill them and make new ones. I don't think it's a good idea to let someone run around creating and discarding living things on a whim like that.

Also, if we end up having to kill his creations he's just going to keep making new ones.

Ranma and I are going after him, but we could use some help. If you want to join us you can meet us at (They give a location far enough from the alchemist's house as to not arouse suspicion or set off any potential guards.)

I can back up what they're saying here. Those chicks started chasing me all throughout town just for being near the guy's home, and no matter how many times I gave them the slip, they're relentless and stuck close by until they found me again. I only just managed to lose those girls thanks to them, for now at least. Either way, I can't have been their only target they've gone after, and will go after.

Something has to be done about them- No, something's got to be done about that creep ASAP! Far as we know, the 'wives' only go after guys. I imagine they'll probably attack anyone who goes after the creep, regardless of what gender they are, but for now, it's safe to assume they'll ignore anyone who isn't male.

Same here. Dealt with too many of them. Scum like them? They don't settle with just one. They want more. Even if he doesn't kill them to replace them, he could still make more just for wanton lust.

(Sidestep would replace that sometimes with most of the time. Humans suck most of the time. The only reason it isn't all of the time is because of Julia, Anathema, and Herald, even if the Humans here seem more okay than most.)

He could also market this--either the wives or the knowledge to make them--to others like him.

No, I've met plenty of sick bastards that aren't human before. Doesn't matter what species they are, if they're malicious or gross enough to think of something horrible, they'll do it.

(Being subjected to these horrors to such an extent that they have has transformed any satisfaction they might get from retaliation into a desperation to have the people that might hurt them gone, and they rage at the idea of others being so mistreated.

They get almost nothing out of hurting these people in comparison to the evils said people inflict.)
