Subject: Sidestep wants to do something about that alchemist
Warnings: Implications and possible discussion of slavery and sexual exploitation, planning to inflict violence on a (deserving) alchemist
You guys saw that alchemist asking for help "bringing back" his wife, right?
Well, he didn't. He created two new wives instead. You've probably seen them attacking the populace.
I don't know if he's ordering them to do this or if they need to feed on men or what, but if they don't please him he'll kill them and make new ones. I don't think it's a good idea to let someone run around creating and discarding living things on a whim like that.
Also, if we end up having to kill his creations he's just going to keep making new ones.
Ranma and I are going after him, but we could use some help. If you want to join us you can meet us at (They give a location far enough from the alchemist's house as to not arouse suspicion or set off any potential guards.)
(ooc: The log for attacking the alchemist is here!)

(They could probably use another telepath.)
If you want you can meet up with us. Current plan is we'll have a few people lure away the wives while everyone else goes after the alchemist.

Do you want the kill yourself
[ Listen, this is an important distinction to make in advance. ]

But ...no, that's not what he's asking.)
I'm not going to kill him but I'm not going to lose any sleep if someone else decides to.
(It's practical. If he dies he can't pass on or sell the knowledge of how to do this.
Speaking of...)
We should make sure to destroy any notes he has on how to create these beings.

I read it in their thoughts.

I can back up what they're saying here. Those chicks started chasing me all throughout town just for being near the guy's home, and no matter how many times I gave them the slip, they're relentless and stuck close by until they found me again. I only just managed to lose those girls thanks to them, for now at least. Either way, I can't have been their only target they've gone after, and will go after.
Something has to be done about them- No, something's got to be done about that creep ASAP! Far as we know, the 'wives' only go after guys. I imagine they'll probably attack anyone who goes after the creep, regardless of what gender they are, but for now, it's safe to assume they'll ignore anyone who isn't male.
[Something she's learnt first hand numerous times by now.]

Of course. What kinda man would I be if I let that creep do whatever he wanted?

(Sidestep has like, the opposite of faith in Humanity. They are, in fact, deeply afraid of Humans.)

But I think that's less important than treating his new wives like toys.

Technically speaking, they are his property. The alchemist can do as he sees fit with what is his. If we use the claim that we don't like what he is doing to what belongs to him, that opens it up for anyone to be criticized thusly.

People aren't property.

Wrong.

(Even if they thought he was full of shit they weren't going to assist in reviving someone when they themself would prefer that they'd died.)

But I resent it was there at all. You give even a most dubious carrot to a horse, they'll still consider it a carrot.

(And who's to say he wouldn't have just done it anyway?)
Right now I'm trying to stop him from doing anything worse.
