[open] a book club 📚

[Due to the Garuda Incident, this post is coming from a very bedridden Joshua who is recovering from some bad injuries. So, he’s bored and desperately running out of books to read.]
Good afternoon,
It seems I've found myself with a surplus of free time this month, and with that realization comes the stark truth—I've exhausted my reading list.
So, I had an idea. Why not extend an invitation to others who might be interested in joining the book club that Tifa and I have been enjoying? Every few weeks, we gather to exchange ideas and thoughts on the current book we're reading, and it's led to some wonderful discussions.
While our tastes have leaned toward adventure and romance novels thus far, I'm open to exploring books from other genres to diversify our collection. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Here are a few of the books we've read so far:
"The Swashbuckling Misadventures of Captain Bumblebeard"
"Enchanted Hearts and Dragon Flames"
"Spells and Sword Swells"
"Quest for the Heartstone: A Tale of Love and Sorcery"
"Siren's Song: A Pirate's Passionate Plunder"
"That Time I Got Drunk and Yeeted A Love Potion At A Werewolf"
Although, I’m still not entirely certain what “yeeted” means. I only assume it means, “to throw”?
If you might be interested in joining in on our next reading, please do. As well as I’m taking suggestions for more books that the group might enjoy.
Sincerely,
Joshua.

I would have to say that "Spells and Sword Swells" has been my favourite, thus far. It's the perfect mix of adventure, fantasy and mystery that had me hooked like a fish. And the sweet love story between a mage and a swordswoman was, put simply, adorable.
That is exactly the idea I have been hoping for. We tend to share our thoughts over sweet tea at a tavern on Eltrut, should you wish to join us. I would be happy to hear more about your book choice as well. Even the journals you've read.

"Spells and Sword Swells." I'll have to be on the lookout... I'm not so sure how easy it is to find books on Nogard, but I'd likely have more luck on Eltrut, wouldn't I?
I would be more than happy to join you, sir, if it's no intrusion. Unfortunately, the journals I was referring to are none other than the adventuring journals of my ancestors. I've no idea if we'll find them here, but I'm sure there are other such similar accounts I could look into and vet.
My name is Sumina, by the way! I'm thrilled that there's a book club here, too.

It's no intrusion at all. It's pleasure to speak with you, Lady Sumina. I'm Joshua, as stated before. To be honest, this little book club was only that for some time. Little. I'm happy to see some so many readers who wish to join us.
[Although he's a little overwhelmed there are so many responses!]

The post certainly has gotten quite spirited, hasn't it?
[ Honestly, she wonders if it's any indication as to how actual discussions will go... ]
Perhaps the in-person discussion will be more low-key?
[ she's new and hasn't met many of these folks yet... she doesn't know... ]

That is what I'm curious about. Some people are very enthusiastic so our in-person discussions may be, to say the least, spirted?
[He's kind of low key nervous, tbh.]

If you've a need for another moderator of sorts, or just another person to keep an eye on things, I'm more than happy to assist. I've been an innkeeper for a long time, so I'm quite accustomed to doing such things, Joshua.
