What is the fastest route to acquiring a ship of one's own?
As a man of the desert, I am hardly equipped to crew one by myself; however, I am not the sort to promise a position and be unable to deliver. Still, I also have an interest in those who find themselves dissatisfied with their current circumstances, searching for...more.
I for one would hardly be content chasing petty bounties when there are bigger fish in the sea.

Even better if you can steal a Paladin ship, of course.

How much money the Paladins tend to throw about could assure for a good and sturdy vessel at the very least- there are also merchant ships, and those that belong to other Corsair of course.
Sending those who wish to join you after a Paladin ship, however? Could be a wonderful test of skill.

I'll go as well, just to help ensure a ship comes of it. I'd rather work with people that do know what they're doing, but also know how to pick up the slack.

Good. I will rely on your own judgement as well, then. And if they prove to be incompetent, I trust you can salvage something.

Of course, wouldn't be the first time. I'll keep an especially close eye on how well they can work together, and apart.
