[Daria was making motions to just show her face but she was in a dark place, like a bathroom stall or something. She had a very flushed look on her face that was trying to be bubbled down by her usual deadpan resting one. But she was beet red and trying real hard to not show her maid outfit.]

I'll make this quick. Most of you guys got jumped with this stupid maid thing and somehow my usual clothes are missing.

Bunger buunger bwunger...

I don't need this. I can't go out there anymore. If someone can find my clothes, I'll even pay you.

Which God-Beast are you on?

[Oh of all of the people…Daria certainly could do far far far worse. It’s not like she disliked him or anything but where this conversation could go is-]

The Naughtilust. There’s a whole feather dusting party happening. You can’t miss what’s going on.

This venerable one has not been to the God-Beast Naughtilust in a few weeks.

[So he kind of had been missing what was going on.]

...what is a 'Bunger'?

You’re not missing much. It still sucks. I wouldn’t ask anyone to come if I weren’t desperate. Hard enough as it is to admit that.

Just. Don’t let them catch you and put you in these things.

[Fine also…something else to talk about.]

They’re from that island, filled with creatures called Bugsnax.

[oh. those things. Daqiang did not like them and the way his face twisted briefly made that very clear before he managed to get his expression under control.

A moment later and the screen went black before the darkness cleared - smoke of some sort. And as it cleared, it was obvious he was no longer in the room he had been before. Instead of a ships cabin behind him, the open skies and brightly colored buildings around Naughtilust's main port.]

How far from the docks are you? This venerable one does not want to be here longer than needed.

[Especially if he was at risk of being put in such a ridiculous costume.]

I'm at the the Salty Spatoon dive bar, not too far from the docks. The bathroom situation is average, I guess. It's at least clean and I can't get cholera, I don't think.

Try to survive. If you see anything that looks like a feather duster, run.

[She seemed a mix of relief and defeat. Like all sense of her pride was heckin' gone.]

Look for the Bunger, again, dead giveaway.

This venerable one will make himself unseen.

[And he did. She wouldn't be able to tell what happened, other than the camera seemed to switch views for a second before it was shut off. But Daqiang made himself invisible and then flew over the street to avoid the crowd.

Landing back at the Salty Spatoon, he spotted the Bunger. Gave it nasty glare it couldn't see, and then began looking for a person or group of people with a feather duster. He was assuming that Daria's warning was because someone like that had taken her clothes.

After a minute or two, he was successful in finding them - they were making a commotion with another victim, forcibly putting the person into a strange black and white outfit while bundling the clothes off into a bag. The bag was then carried off to a nearby shop which... sold those strange black and white outfits. He heard one of the people cheerfully call out 'you can have them back when you're done serving up fun!'.

How monstrous.

Maintaining his invisibility as long as possible, Daqiang slipped into the building and began searching for - ah ha. The green jacket. And presumably the clothes that went on under it. The skirt looked short enough. And the shoes looked overly large, but that fit the picture Daria had provided.

With them in hand, he teleported back to the bar and made his way inside, then to the bathroom.]

Daria. This venerable one has your belongings.

Bunger? Bunger bunger bunger!

Easy, Wendy. I know who that is.

[Wendy was immediately on high alert when Dongfang approached the stall. That was until Daria's voice rang out and she ever so slightly peeked through the door to confirm that it was him. And he had her stuff.]

Boinger bwuger...

[At ease, she moved to the side so Dongfang can approach the stall appropriately.]

That was easy enough.

[Daria...

This is awful and all, and Ranma does sympathize considering they also snatched him in a maid outfit. There's just one important thing on his mind.]

The heck's a bunger?

In lamest terms, a burger with eyeballs.

Scientific terms; a part of a species of insects fused with food like characteristics. Half bug, half snack. From that weird island.

[A beat.]

One came home with me.

[While Ranma hadn't visited the island of the Bugsnax yet, he had seen Izuku post a strawberry with googly eyes on them. So the absurdness of the whole 'burger insect' mention in that entire sentence doesn't have him nonplussed.]

Right. Mutant foodimal. Anywho, you got grabbed by one of those places in Naughtilust too, yeah?

Yeah, brutal reminder why I don’t come here often. Now I really won’t.

[There was so much effort to not show anyone her outfit.]

Amen to that. The dress wasn't even a good look.

[Beat.]

Hey, wait a minute. If you're there and your clothes are gone, aren't you wearing one of those frilly things? What's stopping you from getting your clothes?

[Asked less out of accusation and more confusion. He's still willing to swing by there if he needs.]

...I'm not going out there. Simple as that.

What's the big deal? It probably doesn't look good on you enough to attract attention!

[... Would you believe it if he said that that was supposed to be reassuring?]

As cozy as that sentiment is, I don't like to wear it. It makes ME uncomfortable.

[Can't argue with that. The teen shrugged and nodded.]

Alright, alright. I'll head on over there. You just sit tight on your ceramic throne there, try not to fall in.

[Sorry, he couldn't resist being cheeky even when he agreed to help. Daria'll hear radio silent on his end, accompanied only by Wendy and the writing on the stalls. It's only a few minutes before she gets another message from Ranma, holding up the camera to show himself standing in front of the tavern.]

Here. Where'd you last seen your clothes?
