[Ranma had disappeared for a short time, not making himself seen by anyone he's gotten acquainted with. Last anyone'd seen him would've been a few days ago.

Come present day, a video feed coming from his username would pop up on the network. Opening it would display an image of a humble, homely cottage, and a familiar voice.]

Ain't it nice? Figured it was time to get myself a place all to myself. It's nothing fancy, but it's a roof over my head. Oh! There's something here I've been working on for the last few days.

[Heading inside, the video showed Ranma opening one or two doors, walking down a small hallway until descending down some steps. Those watching would get a viewing of Ranma's shoes hastily treading down the stairs, before panning up to show what looked to be a DIY training hall made out of a basement. Miscellaneous equipment and objects could be seen scattered about. Mats, cinder blocks, wooden post, anything one would picture belonging to a dojo.

The shellphone is propped down on the floor, so Ranma could walk in front of the frame. Instead of the usual red silk shirt he normally wears, he's instead dressed in a dogi.]

It's not as great or spacious as the dojo back home, and it's still a work-in-progress, but it'll do. Any of you wanna swing by and train any time, you're welcomed to. Just a head's up though I only have the few-- [He tugged the dogi.] uniforms, they may not be your size. None of the stores here had these in stock, so had to make them myself.

[Shoto is becoming an expert in 'did they leave or are they coming back' and noting someone was not really around in their crew, he did the first thing that's come to his mind and check the user name. Still there? Still there. He doesn't make anything of it, because everyone needs space sometimes. But he's glad to see that this is what the culmination of all of it was.]

Saotome, congratulations on your new home. I think it's fancy as long as you like it. I can tell you worked hard on your training room, too. I hope you're proud of it. I didn't know you could sew either.

[Maybe he should've let people know what he was doing considering people've been going MIA lately and returning worse for wear. He figured no one'd care that he'd keep to himself for only a few days. Ranma nodded, sitting down in front of the phone.]

Don't get me wrong, I can train just fine anywhere. But a guy needs his own space every now and again, one that doesn't rock back and forth and smell like salt water 24/7.

[That's another reason why he built this training hall in the basement. Unless the house floods somehow, there's no water around to douse him. Given this is him, however, the universe'll somehow find a way to.]

Mhm, taught myself. It's cheaper fixin' or makin' your own clothes than buyin' a new set every time they get torn up.

[He probably should've but it's fine, Shoto knows how to snoop and no one is obligated to deal with telling anyone they're doing something on that crew. They'll have each other's backs, too.]

I understand, sometimes you need something that is specifically yours. My sister and my brother had their own rooms, too I found out.

[The sewing though? That's actually really cool.]

Could you show me how? Repairs to my uniform can't be done with regular thread so I never learned.

Ain't that the truth? Most of the time, I've had to bunk with Pop. Feels nice not having that lug taking up the whole futon or tent.

[That, and without Pop around, he's been able to wake up on his own without getting drenched or thrown into the koi pond.]

Sure, it's not that hard anyway. It's like suturing up a wound.

Thanks! Having a place to kick back and unwind in feels pretty great. Not to knock the cabins on the ship, I'm used to sleeping just about anywhere, but a guy needs his own abode to come back to anytime.

Bits and pieces. There's stuff I copied from Akane's old man's dojo, but the rest I just made do with what I could find lying around.

Firstly, Ranma, congratulations on your new home. This is a huge achievement and you should feel proud of yourself.

Secondly, please just try to ignore anything that Mr. Gojo says about the rating you gave. You're entitled to your own opinion, but he's incapable of accepting this. It's truly not worth fighting about...

My leg is still a little messed up from the fight with the shark leviathan (They were using a cane for a few weeks, Ranma might have seen them.) maybe another week or two? (It's probably not gonna be perfectly healed by then but it should be mostly functional.)

Was thinking we could do it at your place since you've apparently got a dojo now.

[Gohan doesn't recognize Ranma as the same girl he'd met before, so he's pinged by the talk of training. He should really try his best to keep on top of his training. Maybe if he had someone to push him to improve it wouldn't be so bad...]

Nah, not yet. Right now, I'm just a martial artist. But in the future, I plan to at some point. Have been training a few other people here though.

Oh... [Well, that's a little disappointing. Not a real teacher? ...Granted, Piccolo wasn't a real teacher at the time he took him in, and it's not like his dad had any qualifications as an instructor, and both of them did a great job teaching him as far as he's concerned. So maybe...?]

Man, lotta kids asking him to train with them. It's a little touching. He did get the impression from the last encounter that the boy was stronger than he made himself out to be, despite saying he wasn't a fighter. Plus, he did ask Gohan to teach him how to use ki to fly a month or so ago, so it's a fair trade.]
