001 | Video | New visitors!
[ The videos opens to a familiar face who, surprisingly given the past couple of weeks or so, is actually smiling warmly into the camera.
Small portions of his surroundings can be seen in the background, placing his whereabouts in a rather grassy field. ]
Thought you would like to see the recent companions I've come across. [ He says before panning his face out of view and onto a pile of... chicks?
Well. Chocobo chicks to be exact.
There are eight of them from what the camera depicts- their colors ranging from bright yellow, to silver, to a slightly darker mix of the two. Beyond their chirping forms their mother is seen looking curiously on beside them. Another yellow chocobo is seen further off in the field, and with the presence of Torgal attempting to sniff at them from a safe distance, it looks as though Clive is currently surrounded by animals...!]
It appears they are but a few days old. Funny. I never thought you to be the motherly type, Ambrosia— [ Clive playfully mocks at the older chocobo who shakes her winged feathers in response.
"Kweh!"
He'll laugh off screen before inching the camera a bit closer to the chicks, who are scrambling around and practically running over one another in childish excitement. ]
Should anyone have need of a new companion, let me know. While chocobos could prove to be very useful here, I don't think I can handle quite this many.

And I think I would quite like the fresh air, if you would join me.

[ He's already beginning to try and bundle them all together in a makeshift pin he's made, but somehow younger animals and himself don't quite mix in terms of cooperation...
Oh well. ]
We're just beyond the south side of the caverns. I can meet you there and we can go together.

I shall meet you there then, brother. I'll be sure to bring them some bread from this morning.
And I promise, I am feeling very well today.
[LET HIM OUTTTT
He'll gather himself, freshly bandaged and walking, with a small bundle of bread and cheese and head out that way.]

But maybe just a little bit of walking will do him some good... just only a little! ]
Alright.
[ He's going to believe you despite Joshua's lack of a truth track record and begin gathering his own bearing for the meeting. ]
If you get tired at any point let me know. The chocobos aren't going anywhere for some time.

[He's just being cheeky. A little bit of walking and some fresh air!! He can't wait to see the sky and breathe in that sweet ocean air.
And he makes his way that way. But just to make sure his brother is not worried he'll call out for him as he gets closer.]
Clive?

... Clive, and all the rest of the crew, too.
Seeing that the man had moved from his post the other animals (Torgal included) had curiously followed after him. So it's an entire welcome party when first the younger man calls out to him. ]
Over here. [ He'll call, beckoning with his voice as he directs his attention to the chicks who were now attempting to play with Torgal. They chirp and kweh and flap their little arms and they race around him with the wolfhound being happy to oblige. ]

Joshua takes his time walking closer if only to appreciate the sight and to take it easy on his body.]
I see that you and Torgal truly have your hands full.
[Ambrosia did a good job. A good mother.]
