[ The videos opens to a familiar face who, surprisingly given the past couple of weeks or so, is actually smiling warmly into the camera.

Small portions of his surroundings can be seen in the background, placing his whereabouts in a rather grassy field. ]

Thought you would like to see the recent companions I've come across. [ He says before panning his face out of view and onto a pile of... chicks?

Well. Chocobo chicks to be exact.

There are eight of them from what the camera depicts- their colors ranging from bright yellow, to silver, to a slightly darker mix of the two. Beyond their chirping forms their mother is seen looking curiously on beside them. Another yellow chocobo is seen further off in the field, and with the presence of Torgal attempting to sniff at them from a safe distance, it looks as though Clive is currently surrounded by animals...!]

It appears they are but a few days old. Funny. I never thought you to be the motherly type, Ambrosia— [ Clive playfully mocks at the older chocobo who shakes her winged feathers in response.

"Kweh!"

He'll laugh off screen before inching the camera a bit closer to the chicks, who are scrambling around and practically running over one another in childish excitement. ]

Should anyone have need of a new companion, let me know. While chocobos could prove to be very useful here, I don't think I can handle quite this many.

They're positioned on the south side of the tunnel entrance— less than a malm away. It should easy enough to access that way.

I'll make my way over. Bit curious about them myself.

[And that would indeed by the camera moving as he starts walking.]

Now I know you're offering them away, but I hope we'll be keeping a few for ourselves?

Are you asking because you want to tend to a chocobo, or do you have some other venture in mind?

[Careful, Clive, he has that gleam in his eye and that little smirk of his that answers everything.]

Bit of both, perhaps?

[ SIGHS!!! ]

But I do intend to keep a few, if not to make traveling a bit easier on foot.

[ramuhs]

[It's Cid, and he needs to make sure they have as much income as possible since they can only pillage brigands so often.]

Good lad. I have more we can discuss when we get there, so I'll see you in a mo'.

[gruffier]

[ They've survived on much less! Yet Clive can't fault him for wanting to make a generous living here. He only knows half of it will involve himself somehow. ]

In the meantime he'll gather a bit of his bearings as he waits for Cid to arrive. His hands are full giving so many animals little pets! ]

[Time to stop living like real outlaws and start living like a real community, son.

And after a bit (because walking takes a while) Cid will have sauntered his way over to where Clive is. Torgal will perk his head up and wag his tail seeing him, Cid grinning as he gives the wolfhound an affection head ruffle before whistling at all those little chicks running about.]

Ambrosia certainly has her feathers full, doesn't she? Though I suppose you make a fine enough babysitter.
