Hello.
I am in need of legal advice regarding a private matter:
Is a marriage contract legally binding if one or more parties involved were under the influence of spiritual possession while it was officiated?
Thank you for your assistance.

But if it's fairly recent you should be able to get an anullment.

but I think it's both? it'd depend on what exactly happened.
still, even then, if you both agree to an annulment and it hasn't been that long, I don't think there'd be a problem dissolving it?

In that case, do you know the laws of marriage and annulment for Naughtilust? Or where I can read up on them?

Also would you be interested in a roommate?]That would be most helpful, thank you. I would prefer to find a way that the spirits are legally recognized as wed but not myself and my companion.
[ Not that there's not a part of her mind that is going "tee hee /twirls hair" about the idea of being married to Darin... But the larger, royalty part of her mind is reminding her that she absolutely cannot be getting married to someone willy-nilly. ]

he'll rebuild the apartments over the book cafe soon claim your spot]So you were proxies? Oh, then that shouldn't be a problem, then. Unless you are expected to carry on as their proxies for the entire marriage, you shouldn't be legally required to stand in. Probably.
Unless the laws on the Naughtilust are way weirder than I remember or you said you wanted to actually marry the other proxy, I guess.

The spirits were fairly clear that my companion and I were only needed for the wedding ceremony.
But what exactly do you mean, "if I said I wanted to marry the other proxy?"
[ Zelda is now scrolling back through her (admittedly fuzzy) memories of that night trying to remember if she ever said anything that could be construed as her wanting to marry Darin. (She knows she expressed interest in wanting other things, but none of those were specifically marriage. ]

So it sounds as though I am in the clear, legally speaking.
