I am in need of legal advice regarding a private matter:

Is a marriage contract legally binding if one or more parties involved were under the influence of spiritual possession while it was officiated?

I'd argue that's entrapment. Meaning, you shouldn't be bound to the marriage.

And if that's not good enough for the lawmakers here, throw a divorce party instead.

A divorce party seems rather extreme! My companion and I are close friends; even if we do not wish to be married at this time, celebrating a divorce between us feels rather mean-spirited.
