A minute passes as she considers her options. On the one hand, she's really not obligated to keep up this conversation-- especially since Ranma's advice was... less than useful, to put it nicely.
But on the other hand, what does she really have to lose if she reveals her identity in a private conversation with him? Zelda already knows that she revealed her royal title to him in a drinking game during the Ghoul's Moon masquerade. (Not one of her finer moments.) And for as much as Ranma is, well, Ranma... Zelda has actually come to trust him quite a bit over the months that she's known him. ]
