So where do coffee beans grow again? Somewhere tropical? Do we have to source our own shit just so we have good coffee?

they grow all over

the biggest places are south america, africa, and southeast asia. different qualities to each of them, and certain exceptions apply. i'm a big fan of jamaican blue mountain, myself.
