[ listen. who knows. ]

[Something about the idea of dragon's milk is just ...]
Have you seen a dragon here yet? Besides the Corsair's base that is.

i'll so some reconnaissance. i don't usually put milk in my coffee, but i'll do it for the sake of science.
[ or something. ]

Coffee. What is it?

the nectar of the gods
[ he answers, VERY SERIOUSLY, before realizing he should give an actual explanation. ]
it's a drink made from the beans of a coffee cherry. it's bitter, delicious, and full of caffeine.

[Nerd.]
There are shops in port that specialize in all manner of things, and I'm certain I saw at least one dedicated to kitchenware. That seems like an excellent place to start. I could use a kettle, myself.

[ it's not that he's wrong, it's just. that sounds like a lot of work. MAN... nerdiness or not, it has validity. ]

But given that you're in a port town now, I imagine, you should be able to find a wide range of different coffee more to your liking. You might want to try down by the harbor and see what the local shops there have first.

There are a few different coffee shops on the different islands. Eltrut tends to use pourover styles, but Elah goes for French press or espresso drinks more often than not. I haven't had coffee on the other islands yet, but I'm sure they do too.
[... Meaning yes, this is a Paladin speaking.]

[ NICE, finally some information he can totally use. ]
that's the one, then. i'll head there to find somewhere it's already made and then begin my sacred journey to find my own to make. thanks
i don't know how smart it would be to go to Elah just for coffee. could be exciting i guess
[ meaning... yeah, a corsair right back! ]

[Ah... no judgment here, honestly most of the Corsairs she's met so far have been really nice.]
True. It's a shame the two places don't get along more. There's elements of both in Eltrut cuisine at least, even if it has its own culture.
