I guess I will kick off the new year with a hearty hello! That is, according to this calendar it seems like. Back home this would be the Guardian Moon.

Anyway, that's not really what this is about. While it's a little early to think about gardening, I wouldn't mind getting a head start. My home doesn't really do cold months, you see. Cold nights, sure, but snow and ice? Not really. So I really thought about taking up a hobby of mine, you know?

I went ahead and threw together a list of the plants I am looking to cultivate. Looking for anyone who might be able to help a guy out. I've scribbled some rough drawings together, but ignore my messy handwriting. Embarrassing, I know.

I wouldn't say it's entirely off my list. Aconite can come in pretty handy. Wood Anemones too, really. One of my classmates really liked anemones. Maybe I should add it in her honor.

As far as pretty or useful? More useful than pretty. The prettier they are the more I might have to warn someone off.

Hmm. How powerful the use would need to be might vary.

Hellebore? Winter rose. They're not deadly unless you consume a lot of it, but it is unpleasant. They're frost tolerant and grow in early sprint...not the prettiest plant, but I have a soft spot for them.

Rather, I should wonder if you expect to need to use them.

Honestly? I would hope that I wouldn't have to.

Do I like being prepared in advance? Sure do. You never quite know for sure, right?

No, I don't imagine that they would. That just means I'll have to get even more creative.

If you cannot kill or poison your opponent, traps will do.

I like a good net trap.

I don't think net traps are really all that effective when dealing with people?
