Warnings: Bruh Toxic Plants - Though his "notes" won't be legible.
I guess I will kick off the new year with a hearty hello! That is, according to this calendar it seems like. Back home this would be the Guardian Moon.
Anyway, that's not really what this is about. While it's a little early to think about gardening, I wouldn't mind getting a head start. My home doesn't really do cold months, you see. Cold nights, sure, but snow and ice? Not really. So I really thought about taking up a hobby of mine, you know?
I went ahead and threw together a list of the plants I am looking to cultivate. Looking for anyone who might be able to help a guy out. I've scribbled some rough drawings together, but ignore my messy handwriting. Embarrassing, I know.

Ends justify the means, huh? Claude can agree to that. To a point. ]
Where I was from there was a war that lasted years. While people might know the risks of taking up arms, some people get caught up in it and don't have much of a say. Obtaining victories with minor losses on both sides would be better, if at all possible.

War does, unfortunately, have a way of trampling over those who wanted nothing to do with it in the first place. I'm very sorry to hear it. The old saying regarding necessity being the mother of invention is especially true in wartime, I imagine. While I have certainly faced my share of peril, I admit that I have been fortunate enough not to witness a war between nations firsthand.

Personally, I also just like experimenting. Maybe I could be persuaded to go another route with all of this, but you'd still have to understand how the poisons work for an antidote to be effective.

I can't imagine myself ever arguing against experimentation, given it's a vital step in the learning process! Exactly right; if one is going to be able to undo the effects of a given poison, one must understand how it works. I do have some experience in alchemy myself, largely in the realm of potions, but I know a particularly industrious young alchemist here by the name of Alfyn who seems able to suss out near any concoction he comes across.

Actually, I'm pretty shocked at the responses I've gotten to this all around.

I'm curious, what were your expectations?
no subject
Anyway, yes. Expectations. First of all, I figured more people would catch onto what the list contains. Second, I didn't think people would be so eager to get on that. But one and two might be related.

I'll be interested to see how your garden fares, sir.
