I've heard it customary to lay plans for the future upon the new year. Saying your goals out loud has always helped me to achieve them, so I'm curious to know what goals you have planned for yourself. Be they large or small.

I've nothing grandiose for myself— only to be a better person. A person worthy of friendship, and to continue to help those around me.

[ And after a small pause: ]

—Maybe open a petting zoo, at this rate.

I guess mine would be about the same as yours. Plus, I want to learn more about this place and figure out how to get some of my stuff back. I want to be able to help make and repair stuff for people with Tadashi. Together. Make the most of this extra time with him.

His voice softens a bit at this. ]

If you're looking to retrieve your things, assisting in the MANTA board often rewards you with the means to do that. It takes some time, but it can be done.

MANTA thing. Got it. I just figure, if I at least get my computer and my printer here. I can figure making stuff that might help?

[Hiro is used to having tech and the like. Using that as his way to help. Making things that might help others.]

I've heard of a computer before, but never a printer. If you feel that it can help you, I wish the best of luck.

[ Ah. There it was. Clive's intuition was right. ]

I, too, have a brother here. Younger, and one I am grateful to spend time with here.

the printer can print stuff. like write or draw directly on the page for you that you do on the computer. or make stuff, if it's a 3D one like mine.

guess it isn't surprising we aren't the only family around among everyone. glad you have each other here.

Oh? What sort of things you would be making, then?

I'm grateful for you, as well. It's comforting to have those we know in a world we're not. Hopefully it has been treating you and your brother well.

Depends on what people need. I've made all sorts — bots for bot fighting, suits for my friends and myself and Baymax that did various things.

[Depending on who it was for and what they wanted from their suit. Their abilities and specialties.]

Hm? For me? But uh, yeah. I mean. It's not been the worst, I guess. Just an adjustment.

[gruffier]

[ The bit of silence that follows on the other end indicts Clive's lack of knowledge towards all this sudden information. He did ask, though... ]

... Bots and suits. Got it. [ His tone suggests he, in fact, does not "got it" at all. ]

An adjustment for all, I'd imagine. It's not every day one is spirited away so mysteriously from their home. But should you need any further assistance, you only need to ask. I'm Clive.
