Greetings everyone,

I hope you all are keeping warm this winter. I am not sure if it was only me or if someone else also experienced this but this morning I awoke to a sweet letter and a thoughtful gift from someone named 'Santa Claus'. I don't know any other means of reaching this person other than using our magical devices we were given. So Mr. Claus, if you are reading this, thank you for the wool cloak and stuffed animal. I don't receive gifts often.

I can't say I fully understand the logic behind pretending to be someone else to give gifts but I can appreciate wanting to make others happy.

Koh is what my brother used to call me. Hearing my full name now feels... off.

[Oh, yikes... Holidays? Koh's brows furrowed a bit trying to think of something nice to say.]

As I said earlier, my kin aren't known for their boundless generosity. My Sisters would rather chop off their own hands before they used them to help someone out of kindness. We do have celebrations but none of which are particularly pleasant to talk about in polite company.

However, I can tell you about some of my own personal rituals I celebrate as a cleric of Eilistraee.

Circle of Song is the biggest one that comes to mind. I try to celebrate it once a month on the full moon. It is meant to happen after a Hunt with your Sisters where after you have a large feast, dancing and singing around a great fire in a woodland clearing at night. It is encouraged to wear as little of clothing as one feels comfortable for the dancing. Our goddess is depicted as being clad only in her long white hair, so wearing less is to honor her. The ritual is to show Eilistraee our appreciation and to renew our faith. Though you don't need to be a follower of the Dark Maiden to enjoy the festivities.

I have only ever one it once myself, back when I was living at the temple. Usually I am traveling the road traveling and dancing naked in the wilds with possible unknown dangers luring in the dark, being under prepared doesn't seem wise.
