i don't know if tadashi had plans with anyone that i wasn't aware of, but. he's gone. just so everyone knows. been looking everywhere. baymax's scanner seems fine and he isn't picking up tadashi's life signs anywhere here. tadashi wouldn't ignore me trying to call or message him like this.
[He knew this would likely happen. One way or another, Tadashi staying here and him going back home to Aunt Cass or something, they'd end up separated. It just feels cruel. Like he had just got his brother back only for this to happen. He can't help feeling upset. Bitter. Not as raging and furious as with Callaghan but still.
It hurts.]
but if he had anything going, i can do my best to help and step in? maybe. depending on what he might have been helping with.
[He can at least offer that much. After he's had a couple of days or so to readjust to being without Tadashi again. If that were even possible. The realization that he's alone here now sinking in. Well, outside of Baymax.]

[Given he had no idea what else to do other than carry on; he technically was the Professor, but in ways he was someone else given his time here. Even with Dojima's reassurances he was his own person... well. Even he could admit others might not see it that way.
Turo sat down in one of the chairs, just across from where Hiro settled, hands folded to rest just near his lap.]
Ryotaro Dojima, Chris, Emet-Selch, 'Cid', and Shadow know of my nature; Ranma may as well, but at the time there were other pressing matters and it might not have registered during the incident. [So that Hiro knew who could be spoken to at the very least amongst those still present in this world.] It is my being an AI, along with my power source, that Dojima and even Chris are worried about others discovering, and you are not wrong in the... understanding, possible fears. There is nothing else like me in the world I come from.
Some months ago there was an incident where I was... damaged, circuits fried in some areas due to a strong electrical current from an outside source; it nearly drained my core to a point of shut down as well. I have had some catches in arm movement since then, and I worry there may be damage that went unnoticed- or at least something stemming from it.
no subject
[It is good to know, and Hiro makes a note about the names mentioned, before trying to focus on the damage. The arm. He does still figure that, like Baymax, the Professor would still have his own experiences, memories, and knowledge, separate from the original. Which he would reassure Turo on as well.]
Is it okay for me to have a look, here?
no subject
[There was a nod, confirming it was the arm and well- it was easy to shrug off the lab coat, the material of his turtleneck stretchy enough to easily roll up his sleeve.
There was a scar-like sort of line along his inner arm, where the synthetic skin could be moved back-]
It is. I keep this place clean and no one will interrupt- if someone does come by there is a sign on the door for them to knock.
no subject
[Hiro makes a note to contact Dojima if he needs help with that, with the wiring. He shifts to get a better look at the other's shoulder, nodding that Turo reassures him they shouldn't be interrupted. He checks the inner arm, gently inspecting the synthetic skin and pulling it back to see underneath, in case something within might be damaged still.]
no subject
[The synthetic skin was easy to pull once the seal found at least, and there amongst metal and wires that nearly mimicked human muscle in how they were interwoven and wrapped around the framing were patches of odd crystal; smoothed down and in places where they didn't interfere with movements, some even woven amongst wiring.
Turo's own head tilted slightly, eyes flickering from brown on white to a softly glowing teal on black. Huh. That had not covered so much last he had checked.
There were pieces of frayed wiring near the elbow, however, and sign where there was some damage of something getting too hot; leftover electrical damage. Some of what had worn away in the joints. Easy to miss before, given the 'burn' had been on the underside of wrapped wires.]
no subject
[He might need to also check with the others, the ones that Turo has told. See if there's anything else he should know or might need. Hiro bites his lower lip as he checks, noting the crystals, the wires.]
I think I see it. Some of the wires are frayed. Maybe if I can replace those? That might help. Looks like there might have been some part around this area that got a bit hot.
no subject
My core is something powerful from my world. [Powerful enough that it had sounded like a second person had become obsessed with the nature of Area Zero for one reason or another.
At least aside from the deteriorated wiring from electrical burns and the mess of it within the joints, things seemed fine. Even if the crystal was a little odd--]
I can imagine the possible causes. What would you need- other than the replacement wiring itself? That I have on hands due to a few of my own projects, and most tools... even if a few handmade.
no subject
[Hiro checks, trying to be cautious, careful, so he doesn't accidentally make anything worse as he inspects the wiring, the situation they are dealing with in what needs to be repaired.]
Mostly the wiring, I think? I have some tools and stuff myself, I can bring just in case. How long did it take to figure the wires last time? You gonna be okay until then?
no subject
[It was likely what had wrapped the wires, and bits of metal from repeated movement of them with the rest of his arm getting in the joints along with just how fried the wiring was that was causing Turo's issues with his arm.]
Dojima was creating wires while the emergency repairing in my chest area was being done- it does not take him terribly long with his practice. I should be okay, and I can be mindful to be careful with this arm until repair to the wiring can be done.
no subject
[The wiring being fried does worry him but that could be fixed. He's used to working on mechanics, on robots, between his bot fighting, his microbots and Baymax. He just has to focus on the task at hand and not worry too much about Turo.]
Health issues took me out for a bit
So long as there is nothing that will cause further stress to the area, or further electrical mishaps. I can monitor my own systems to some degree to at least help manage that until repairs are done.
Hope you are feeling better now!
[Hiro muses, more to himself than to Turo, as he checks the other's arm over, making sure it does seem like it is just the wiring for the most part. That there isn't anything else he is worried about or misses.]
Alright. Yeah, just try be careful until we can get the wiring, I guess. For now.
Much, still a lil exhausted but it be like that sometimes
[Other than cleaning out bits of debris from the burned wiring everything seemed good. Even the odd patches of softly glowing crystal.]
I will. At worse I can manage a sling and give the outer excuse of a strain if I end up needing a more visual reminder.
Rest up! I hope you keep improving!
[Hiro can't help fretting. If something happened here. It isn't home. He doesn't necessarily have the same materials he might need. To be able to figure out fixing him if he needed to again. He tries not to dwell on that, to focus on the task at hand. On Turo. He tries to reach in and gently remove some of the debris.]
A sling isn't a bad idea.
Yes! I managed to get my sense of taste/smell somewhat back.
[Did know how hard it was for Turo after all, and part of the man's continued practice was to make it easier. Simply had to get the appropriate metal into his hands.
Turo did keep his arm still, the bit of debris easy enough to work away.]
It can be easy to explain away as well, given how active I tend to be here at the sanctuary. Hands on with the animals and then some.
Yay progress and improvement!
[Hiro is used to getting hurt. He and Tadashi had numerous incidents growing up with their experiments sometimes over the years. He tries to be careful, using tweezers to get some of the debris out.]
I think that's looking a little better. But yeah, we gotta talk to Dojima about the wiring.
Yes!!!
[It could happen at times when working with large animals- a reason he had been made so sturdy, given what pokémon as a whole could do; then the paradox pokémon were so much stronger... Still, an easy reason for those that believe him only human.
Better for what movements would still be needed there-]
Your help is appreciated quite a bit, and Dojima may have some relief with how he worries just to have a talk at all. You can imagine that my health is... complicated to say the least, no matter the environments I was made to exist in safely and endure.
no subject
[Just a bit more complicated, without his usual tools and supplies. But nothing that difficult. Especially if others were aware of Turo's real identity and were willing to help. Hiro doesn't mind.]
I think this is the best I can manage for now. I think that's all the debris out. Until we can figure the wiring.
no subject
Would also remind him to go a little easy on the arm as well.]
I thank you even for this much. I will let Dojima know- and of course if you have any questions those can be answered any time. You are also very welcome simply to come by here, be it to help or take a break.
[Cosmo Conservatory was good for that after all.]
no subject
[He says, considering that he was trying to keep quiet about the whole superhero thing. To not let his Aunt find out and worry. Hiro can understand keeping secrets. To not worry others. To try protect them. Or even himself. He just wants to help out.]
no subject
Just remember I am happy to help in turn, however I may be able.
no subject
[Hiro is glad at least that most of the time that Turo has others nearby. That would make it harder for anyone that might consider him a target. That might be scared or curious and looking to take advantage of the situation.]
I know. I appreciate it. If I need anything, I'll let you know.
no subject
[Some 'illusion of humanity' broken, or him simply... not being who he was made in the image and mind of. A tricky sort of line between Baymax being a friendly shape and Turo made to purposefully look as if he was someone. He was never meant to be known to the world.]
Even if just for a quiet space.
no subject
[Hiro says as he finishes checking the arm as best he can for now, ensuring that the wiring is covered again until they can repair and replace it. It's probably easier for Hiro to accept something like this. When he is used to robots. The idea that some might look more human. Unlike what others here might be familiar with back home. He gets a sling from the supplies for the animals, hoping it might fit and work in the meantime.]
Here, try this?
no subject
Of course hearing no one has tried to hurt Baymax is good- he is very kind and thoughtful.
[There was a nod as Turo took his good arm- after letting the synthetic skin move back together in that nearly undetectable seal. Sleeve rolled back down as he moved the sling to where it should work, the strap over his shoulder-
Did work rather well, keeping the arm supported and- well, still.]
I do believe this will work well.
