i don't know if tadashi had plans with anyone that i wasn't aware of, but. he's gone. just so everyone knows. been looking everywhere. baymax's scanner seems fine and he isn't picking up tadashi's life signs anywhere here. tadashi wouldn't ignore me trying to call or message him like this.

[He knew this would likely happen. One way or another, Tadashi staying here and him going back home to Aunt Cass or something, they'd end up separated. It just feels cruel. Like he had just got his brother back only for this to happen. He can't help feeling upset. Bitter. Not as raging and furious as with Callaghan but still.

It hurts.]

but if he had anything going, i can do my best to help and step in? maybe. depending on what he might have been helping with.

[He can at least offer that much. After he's had a couple of days or so to readjust to being without Tadashi again. If that were even possible. The realization that he's alone here now sinking in. Well, outside of Baymax.]

[Hiro doesn't necessarily have any clue what to expect, but. At the same time. He appreciates that everyone is trying to rally behind him in this. To support and distract him. He knows everyone has good intentions. He just needs to keep busy for a while. To not let himself slip back into that slump again.

He's pretty sure Baymax wouldn't let that happen. Even if Hiro wanted to. Still, he arrives to meet Kaveh, wondering what the other is intending.]

[Kaveh's got everything laid out on one of the Roost's worktables. He hadn't found time to speak as much as he'd liked, to Hiro and Tadashi, and he regrets it now. But there's no way to turn back time, and he can speak to Hiro now, at least.

He's fiddling with the small magic device that powers one of the kites as Hiro arrives, so it's Mehrak that notices them first. She beeps a greeting, complete with a ^_^ face. Hello friend!!]

[It's both easier and harder here. With Baymax around to prod him to be social or whatever. That he isn't alone, even if he might feel like it in the moment. It's because of the robot's encouragement that he does head over, curious in spite of himself on what Cid might need a hand with. He pokes his head in, followed by Baymax and glances around.]

Cid? What were you working on?

[He looks up when Hiro pokes in, and he smiles warmly as he turns his chair around to wave him over.]

Quite a number of things. You know how we inventors are, thinking of one thing and then another. But before that...

[He pulls out a small stack of papers and slides them across his desk towards Hiro.]

Thought you might want to look at those, see if they spark your interest.

[And when Hiro looks, he'll find them to be various plans and writings Tadashi had worked on while here.]

Yeah. I get it.

[Hiro had plenty of ideas. In theory. Sometimes it was just putting it together and making it work that was the problem. If he had ideas and wasn't having a block. He approaches when Cid gestures and waves him over, blinking at the papers. It doesn't take long before he registers that it must be Tadashi's. That handwriting. He reaches for the top paper, reading through the notes.]

These are.....Tadashi's?

Yeah? Alright. Everything okay, Professor? Ah, was it something Tadashi was working on with you?

[Tadashi was like that. More social. Ever the helper. Hiro's not surprised if Tadashi was helping with this or that and might have mentioned to Hiro and Hiro might have forgotten amid everything else going on around here or something.]

Everything is- as okay as it can be, I believe. A little tired from the influx of injured or sick animals rescued from auction houses, but they are doing better as well.

[It was only partly that- He wished timing was better, but... some things simply cannot be timed well in a world like this.]

There was something he was going to help me with, that I was thinking of speaking to you about as well- if you do not mind, of course.

I'm not as familiar with medical stuff. But if you want, I can see if Baymax might be able to help?

[Sure, some things might differ, between humans and animals but perhaps Hiro bringing Baymax along might help. Hiro likes animals and misses Mochi a lot. So he wants to offer, to try and help if he can.]

Yeah? Ah, sure. What was he gonna help with?

That would do just fine, and might be good for Baymax to learn in the long run.

[Certainly made his own knowledge when it came to first aid... very flexible, whenever he had to step in to help someone rather than strictly keeping it to animals.]

Something best spoken about in person- easier to convey than over the shellphone.

Maybe. I think Tadashi mostly focused on humans, talking to doctors and all. Not sure he considered animals as well. But the basics should be more or less the same?

[He supposes. He's no expert. He's more keen on technology. Robotics. Not so much about biology. Anatomy and all that. Hiro figures it couldn't hurt, to see how much Baymax might be able to help out. He sighs, running a hand through his hair.]

me? i don't know. baymax is going on about the stuff he downloaded about loss again. contact with friends and loved ones or whatever. that sort of thing.

i mean. i knew. i knew this could happen. i guess i just expected it would be me going back, to aunt cass. not him going back.

I know he said something about making a couple of things. I'm not the best at machines but I can try to help out.
