Yo, so how many of ya know about Valentine's Day? It was pretty big back in Chaldea so I was kinda curious.

Cupid's a dick.

I actually did meet someone fused with the spirit of Cupid.

They were kind of a lot.

Not surprising. I met the god himself. He is not my favorite.

Eh, I'm not sure if I would go that far. But trying to keep up with them and how they think can be kind of not Golden.

She's fine when she's just chilling. But ain't really my type to hang around with when she's got an interest in doing something. You feel me? Kinda like a devilish saint.

I only had one encounter with my world's Cupid. He doesn't strike me as the type to be chill at all. But that's gods for you. They're very serious about their domains.

[Nico's still very pissed about the time he met Cupid.]

I guess they can be serious when they gotta be? Most of the time they seemed to just goof off and do whatever they want. That's cool and all, but can be kind of a pain when it causes problems for everyone.

That's my world in a nutshell. Except my father. He and the other Chthonic gods don't goof off.

[bearhowling]

Eh, I guess gods can be different between each other. I met this one guy named Zeus who took things way too seriously. Don't blame him, but still the end result was totally not gonna be worth it.

[Nico's lips go flat at the mention of Zeus.]

Zeus is..

[He doesn't like the King of the Gods, that much is clear on his face.]

The Zeus in my world is... not a great person.

Yeah, he wasn't all that cool in mine either. But the guy did care about his fam, so that's all well and good.

But he just didn't seem to care much about anything outside of that. Ares was pretty freaking sweet though! Gave me this huge, robot to fight his bro with!

[Nico scowls.]

I wish my Zeus was like that. Didn't mean Ares. I mostly dealt with my Father, his wife Persephone, and Demeter. Demeter kept trying to feed me cereal. But I did meet Artemis and Apollo. I liked Apollo.

[Artemis, not so much.]

That's kind of a shame, Ares really did us a solid when saving the world.

[Er... by destroying a world... details...]

Oh, yeah I've met Artemis and Apollo too. Apollo mostly hung around this kid named Paris as a sheep. And Artemis...

...

...She really loves her husband, Orion.

[refantasma]

[Nico's face goes blank for a moment.]

WHAT?!

[bearhowling]

What?

[What's up with that reaction!? Did he miss something somewhere?]

Orion and Artemis hate each other in my world. Or he hates her because she's the Goddess of Virginity. And she hates boys.

[bearhowling]

Huh, that's kind of different from the two that I know.

Artemis usually clings to him and doesn't like being away from him, or him going after other women. And Orion isn't as clingy, but still really cares for her.

[refantasma]

[Nico's eye is twitching.]

Excuse me. I think I'm going to throw up.

They can be a lot, especially Artemis when she feels jealous.

...This is the most bizarre thing I've ever heard. And I've had the Goddess Demeter lecture me about cereal.

You got lectured by a god about cereal?

And that's not even the weirdest part of my life.

Time travel. I'm originally from the 1940s. Now I'm living in 2009.
