Ugh! I've had just about enough of this!

[ To the surprise of no one at all, Inuyasha is flashing his mean mug to the screen, sporting his usual scowl. No, he is not happy to be addressing any of you, but this is a matter of importance. ]

This is the third place this week that's tried to kick me out— where am I suppose to eat now, huh!? All the ramen shop owners have just up and disappeared all of a sudden!

[ He leans a bit closer to the screen, yellow eyes seemingly peering into your own. Yeah, he's talking to you specifically!! ]

All this backstabbing and lying about these damn whales is really pissing me off! So if you're the one causing all this mess, you better fess up! Do it or I'm comin' for you myself!

[ He puffs out a sigh before leaning away from the shellphone, still scowling. ]

You better not be holdin' out on any information about those stupid crystals, either. I'm gunna find the guys who did this, with or without anyone's help! So if you're thinking about doin' the same you better not slow me down.

[ There's a low grumble that follows... but is that from him or his stomach? Inuyasha groans, muttering something low yet audible under his breath: ]

My ramen...




[ Was he just hangry? ]

Hmph. You're not the only one being affected.

[Nanaki had dealt with businesses not being willing to speak to him when he first arrived, but he figured he'd convinced the other shopkeepers of his humanity. Nowadays, however, some businesses don't want to deal with "a police dog" coming in. It's made his fur stand on end at the blatant suspicions.]

[ He knows he's not the only one, but seeing Nanaki upset did make him feel some bit of sympathy ... ]

It's a real pain in the ass, that's for sure. You just lemme know who's bothering you, and I'll knock some sense into them.

Thanks, but it's alright. I know they're only doing it because they're scared.

[That doesn't mean he's not irritated by it! Behind him, his tail flicks in annoyance.]

I know humans only look at appearances, but... it's hard to show you mean well when they won't look past your Armada. A lot of my friends are Corsairs, so I sometimes visit them on Nogard too. But it's been a lot harder to do that these days. Even Eltrut's not as calm as it was before...

"Paladins" this! "Corsairs" that! I don't give a damn about any of them! If you're good and stay out of people's way, then who cares what you look like!

[ He puffs, shaking his head. ]

Looks like the problem is only getting worse... I've gotta find these bastards before they shut down those stores for good!

That’s how it should be! But unfortunately a lot of people don’t want to see it that way.

[It’s so frustrating. His fur puffs up a bit.]

Yeah, I have some friends who are trying to look into things, but we haven’t found enough info yet.

Well if you find anything don't go holdin' back any information! They're gunna pay for taking my food away from me!

[Nanaki lets out a small snort of amusement.]

Oh don't worry, I won't. You can join us when we deal with whoever's causing this whole mess.

Good! Because you better believe I ain't holdin' anything back!

[ But that still leaves the problem at hand... ] So what? You need food too or somethin'? I can try to scrounge somethin' together if you need it.

Well, I may have to do some hunting if no one will let me in anywhere. I know a few good spots to hunt, if you want?

Sounds fine to me. I've done my share of huntin' before, so it should be easy enough.

Won't be as tasty, though.
