I dunno, real homeowners might care about something living there and not paying rent.

Then again, you don't have to worry about unwanted visitors.

Exactly, no one is going to try and convert me to whatever god they pray to when they're afraid my house is haunted.

No insurance salesmen either, you already have the best insurance there is.

I'm not sure how ghosts are supposed to protect against problems, but do go on.

When you worked for ghosts against your will, you learn pretty quick they can be as petty, annoying, or surprising as anyone else.

Ah, must have not mentioned it to you.

This isn’t my first time world jumping.

Before here I was meant to work on a couple resorts. One of them was a resort spa for spirits. They were, unfortunately, my clientele.

95% of it was. Working in customer service. Having your name stolen with a huge debt to pay off. One step away from being turned into a pig and eaten. Surrounded by dark woods that’ll freaking kill you AFTER something tears you apart.

But hey, I made a few friends that shared my misery.

Nnnope. Got to go on home, and the place is done for. I don’t own anyone, dead or not, a cent now.

Well, okay, I have student debt back home but that’s a different discussion. I’ll pay that until I’m 80.
