Given current events, I've had a few projects I've been pondering. I don't suppose anyone would be interested in making handmade fireworks? With precautions taken, of course, these are just for fun at festivals.
While I'm on the subject, how many of you are familiar with cameras, or other ways to take pictures, in your own worlds? Would you mind telling me much about them.
Ah, and one more thing. I've been considering getting some people together for a research project, of a sort. Or I suppose, something like a study group and a book club. I'd like to discuss it in person, though, so please feel free to drop by the Cafe.

So that's why you wanted the camera functions as well. I see.

I don't expect they'll be ready by the time the first people visit, but there's a lot of uses for cameras not connected to the Shellphone network, especially if they can take clear pictures of text.

There's a few inventor types around. One of them might be able to create something... though producing enough to map out all those books might be a challenge.

I could ask Cid. Or perhaps Professor Turo, since his world seems fairly advanced.
[A pause.] Production's an issue, but I don't think we're going to have so many people that mapping things out is the problem. The issue is really making them easy and discreet to transport.

Professor Turo is the one with those creatures? The Pokemon? [ those pokemon themselves had seemed technological... ] The methods you used to create Mehrak don't work the same here, do they?

[Kaveh smiles a little ruefully.] My Vision provides her core the power she uses. I could make smaller constructs, but nothing so complex without the primal construct core she's based around.
[He nods, though, at the question about Turo.] Yes. We've spoken a few times--he seems to have come from a highly advanced world. I'm not sure how well he's...recovering, currently, so we may have to go through his partner to check on him first.

[ sets shadowlily down with a final pet to cross his arms over his chest. ]
If nothing else, I'll help with the last parts. The idea of knowledge being kept secret like that doesn't sit right with me, either.

[Kaveh's very, very angry.]
The copying is probably going to be the trickiest part. I don't know how they're going to react to the replicas...and we'll most likely have to do them by hand to avoid obvious suspicion.
[Kaveh sighs a bit.] I can't say Alhaitham will be thrilled his job expertise will come in useful for once.
