Behold Baymax....3.0??

[Hiro is out on the Island with Baymax. A much larger Baymax, or at least, he looks it, wearing new armour. Hiro is clearly the one recording as he turns the camera from Baymax to himself.]

It's ready! I think. I'm pretty sure. Doesn't he look awesome?! We can probably fly again! Baymax, test out the rocket fist.

[The camera points back to Baymax in the armour. The fist that isn't connected to the shield/barrier at his arm comes forward, and he aims it, firing it and showing that it works, to Hiro's delight. Hiro whoops and leaps in his excitement.]

Okay. Now flying.

[Baymax activates his rocket boots, showing that he can hover and control it before he goes higher, doing a circle above Hiro before landing again.]

Yes! Yes! This is awesome! It works! It finally works!

Sure. Uh, I mean, you're welcome to have a look around here. And I can let you know next time I head to visit Professor Turo? If you want to come and join, ask him anything.

[Hiro knows what it is like to still be new with the magitech and all. To want to learn. He's not been the one to teach anyone else, necessarily, but he's willing to try and help if he can. If the other might have questions, he might be able to help answer. While also helping offer other potential ideas for people that might also be able to help.]

That would be great! I just happy you're willing to let me look around the things here...

[With that said, he was looking around to see what Hiro did for Baymax. So far, it seemed so odd considering it's not what he's used to compared to Fontaine. Looking at the charging dock, he raised an eyebrow or two.]

By the way, how was Baymax made?

[baymaxing]

Well, I mean, we gotta help each other out, right? Professor Turo's been helping me out. So I can help you. I mean. As best I can.

[For all that he was a prodigy and all. He is still just fourteen. So. He might need to figure out asking someone else for certain things. But for the most part, Hiro is happy to help out where he can. He glances to the robot, giving a small smile.]

It was my brother, Tadashi, who made him. I recreated him from Tadashi's plans. And the original chip. I don't have the exact plans here, but if you give me some time, I could figure something out to show you.

[Looking at Baymax once more, he couldn't help but be amazed. For a robot that helps people, he certainly looked a little different from what most people would expect. He certainly was a lot squishier and friendlier looking than what he thought...]

I wouldn't mind that. I wonder if I can make something similar myself with what I know about Fontaine's mechanics.

[baymaxing]

Fontaine? I guess that is where you come from?

[Hiro asks, assuming from the context there. The friendly and squishy appearance of Baymax was on purpose, given Tadashi was going for a non-threatening, huggable kind of look. He didn't want people to be scared of him or anything. And Hiro hadn't figured to change that, even if he did eventually figure out making more armour for Baymax.]

Yes, that's correct. It's a world filled with water and machines. We have the highest rate of machinery in the entirety of Teyvat.

[He said with a pause or two.]

But most of it is for guarding and protecting people from harm.

[baymaxing]

Water and machines don't usually go well together. At least back home. But maybe yours are powered by something other than electricity? Solar, maybe?

[Or something like that? Hiro can only guess. He can't help being intrigued, curious about this. It was always fascinating hearing about other worlds. Most were not nearly as advanced as back home, but some were on par or more so than his own.]

Hm. So things like defenses? Barriers or alarms? Or like robot bodyguards?

[scooba]

Robot bodyguards, you can say.

[Especially when he knew just how scary they were should he accidentally make one upset...]

And they're scary too if they after you. They're usually really tall too! I'm not even sure how some people can beat them so easily.

[baymaxing]

Tall and scary. Right. Well, Baymax might be tall, but he's got that huggable, non-threatening design going for him. But I guess that can depend on the creator. The design they want to go with. The robot's purpose?

[Maybe for the best if he does not mention how terrifying Baymax could be, if he were without his nurse chip. If he just had the one Hiro had programmed instead.]

Well, I never seen a robot like Baymax before. Even the robots back home weren't meant for helping people.

[After all, the people of Fontaine never thought it that way.]

...It's mostly for protective services.

[baymaxing]

Do I want to ask what the robots were protecting people from?

[Hiro is hesitant as he says that, Baymax shifts to glance over to them. The robot watches, noting that the teen seems unsure if he wants to hear more. That the situation did not sound great. Whatever was going on there. Whatever reason people might have for needing these scary bodyguard robots.]

[scooba]

[There was a long pause on his end. It wasn't a secret but it was still enough to cause him to momentarily wonder if he should say anything about his world.]

...From a flood. Enough where it would take out an entire nation.

[baymaxing]

...Water? A flood? How would the robots protect against that?

[Floods weren't necessarily something that could be fought against. Just something that happened when it rained too much. Or when there were, say, tsunami warnings. Hiro isn't sure what the robots were supposed to do against that. Beyond the obvious of helping people get to higher ground.]

[scooba]

I'm not sure but that's what they're used for.

[He said with a mumble or two.]

Luckily, my friends and I managed to prevent the flood from happening but we still use the guards to catch criminals should we need to.

[baymaxing]

Oh. Well, that's good? Right? No flooding. It can be harder with the criminals. Sometimes I think it is more that they need to learn, to be shown a different path. Others probably should be locked away.

[It can be complicated. Hiro just does his best to talk things out or leave it for the police to handle. But he has a second chance, after getting into bot fighting and all. He'd like to think others could be the same. Sometimes.]

For the most part, I think most of the criminals in Fontaine are people who need some help. They're not all bad people.

[He said with a pause or two.]

And if they are, I think His G...I mean Wriothesley could take care of it. He's the prison warden and he can be a bit....

[Scary? Intimidating at first???]

I get it. I was kind of a brat myself. Hustling people with bot fighting. Gambling. Before I started studying at SFIT to get into robotics with them. If Tadashi hadn't believed in me and given me that chance, I'd probably still be hustling Yama and them.

[Hiro does recognize that sometimes, people just need support. To be steered in the right direction. Not all criminals were that bad. He tilts his head as he listens, raising an eyebrow.]

A bit...? Intimidating? I mean. Warden is like, in charge of the place, right?

Yes, that's correct. He's...

[Someone who isn't sure how he could react. However, he didn't have to worry about that when he's not here.]

...a little bit friendly once you get to know him. However, I suppose if it weren't for him, I wouldn't be here today.

[baymaxing]

No? He must have really helped you out a lot then. Can't be that bad.

[Hiro says, shrugging but looking a little unsure. He has no idea what the context is behind this relationship, the history there. He's just basing this on the few things the other has said just now. Baymax listens, not figuring to interrupt just yet. He's just letting them chat.]

It’s a long history but he kind of saved my life.

[Because he knows Hiro doesn’t have time to listen to him talk about the Fatui and Fontaine as a whole.]

Even if we were enemies at one point…

[baymaxing]

Yeah. I get that. Things can be....complicated like that. Back home, I saved this guy's daughter. Even after I found out that he let Tadashi die in that fire. I'm still furious with him, but. Before that? He was someone I admired. Looked up to. Wanted to learn from. Things can change.

[For better or for worse. And he knows things can be complicated with some relationships. Hiro doesn't judge, just listens. Tries to sympathize. Help where he can. If the other has questions about the technology or whatever.]

And are you okay with that?

[Because he wasn't sure if he was the right person to judge whatever happened. He could understand feeling that way but he had to make sure Hiro was okay.]

[baymaxing]

Y-yeah. I mean. It wasn't her fault. She was just doing her job, helping with this portal project. It was how he reacted to that which....escalated things. He's in jail now, so. It isn't like he can hurt anyone there. And he has her back, so he isn't likely to do anything.

[Whenever he does get out. Hiro hasn't necessarily paid that much attention, beyond knowing which jail he was in. A rough idea of how long he might be there. It was just.....complicated. Hiro losing Tadashi here, knowing Tadashi was sent back to die, he hadn't taken that well.]

Even so, it must have still hurt to know he was something whom you looked up to. I would feel rather upset knowing if the Traveler or Father had done something so terrible that I can't forgive them.

[Although, all things considered, he would despite everything.]

[baymaxing]

Yeah. I mean. I knew of him before I found out he was teaching at Tadashi's nerd school. That was what made me want to go there. To study robotics under him.

[Hiro says. He's still studying. Just not with Callaghan as his professor. He's trying to move on and make the best of things. His new friends and Cass help. Being here has, in some ways, too. It would probably hurt more if he had really gotten to know Callaghan before everything went down. Even the brief time he had, it had hurt. The pain and anger, that feeling of betrayal, bubbling up and bursting like he had. He was lucky it wasn't worse. That nobody was actually hurt in all that.]
