[So, what comes up on the network isn't actually any words, but a picture. A big, obnoxious picture, with some text superimposed upon it. The picture is then followed by several others, all depicting a similar theme, and similar motif:]

[Following the pictures is a morose-reading text from a certain magician.]
To think, after two whole years apart, my own sister refuses to acknowledge me! I simply wished to spend time with my dear sister! Oh, the humanity..! My dear sister, if you can see this, please reconsider your cruel and coldhearted decision! Your brother misses you so!
[Sure he may have been a little overbearing with her, checking in on her a bit more than was necessary, but he had missed her! Being blocked on the Shellphones was hardly fair, in Lyney's humble opinion! He clearly didn't do a single thing wrong!]
[...Okay no he may have been quite annoying and irritating to his introverted sister and pushed her to block him because of his overbearing-ness, but like hell is he admitting that.]

Every time I try, she refuses to answer! It's like my messages refuse to be sent to her! I've been left at quite a loss, you see!
no subject
[Because Jill has been traumatized enough to immediately think that is the case for everything.]
no subject
[He figures Jill could. Use that reassurance, even for a stranger.]
no subject
Oh, is she? That is good to know.
So it's more like she is ignoring him rather than something being wrong with the devices?
[And honestly, if this guy acts like this with his sister, Jill does not blame her.]

If they are though, perhaps I should be grateful that fate decided I should be born alone.

It's been two years for him, so I understand a little dramatics, but this is just silly.
no subject
[Up until her father just let a neighboring land take her as if she counted as spoils of war, but that's something to be dissected another day.]
But why have they been separated for so long?
no subject
As you can see, he's coped with the separation quite spectacularly.
no subject
[Or they do both, like her.]
I guess turning on the melodramatics is his method.

i blocked him because he wouldn't leave me alone.

All the more reason why I believe his attempt to contact you in this manner would probably antagonize you rather than convince you to rectify whatever is going on between you two.
no subject
also, my brother is making this to be a much bigger deal than it is. there’s nothing to rectify except for maybe his ego.
i’ll make him buy me cake later to make up for all of this.
no subject
His ego does seem rather.... larger than life, but Kaveh tells me that is part of his nature as a performer.
On the topic of cake, I know I am a stranger and this is rather random, but would he be terribly opposed to be given a cake rather than buying one?
no subject
also, i won’t say no to free cake. what’s the catch?
no subject
Actually, a small one. They aren't very attractive cakes, but I have been told that they are edible.
no subject
[ In the meantime, MORE CAKE FOR HER ]

Thus, if you take one or two, perhaps three, I would not mind at all.
no subject
[They're both trained spies, they know how to vanish when need be.]
So you see why I've exhausted all my options until now!
no subject
Granted, I know she is your sister, but I will assume she is also her own woman.
no subject
You see, I've been in this world for almost two years now, but Lynette only arrived here within the last two months. I just want to make up for lost time.
no subject
However, there is such a thing as being overbearing. Perhaps she needs a little space to settle in first?
no subject
But I thought I had given her plenty of time to settle! And surely she wouldn't mind being checked in on once in a while, right? Especially with every thing that's been going on!
[Him? Overbearing? Naaaah....]
no subject
[How he answers this question will tell Jill all she's ever needed to know.]
no subject
And besides, I only started messaging more when she started to stop replying back.
