Okay.

Just gotta calm down. Zelda isnt mad or at least if she was Id be able to tell. Shes good at tamping things down but I can read her like a book. If anything she didnt bring it up to not put pressure or anything on me

Plus shes had a lot going on lately. Knowing her, shed put it out of her mind as unimportant. The well-being of others comes first.

If I step back and look at it logically shes likely just set it aside as something she believes I might think is important and she wouldnt advocate for herself because she just doesn't do that. She's too invested in others to really think too deeply about her own self.

So the next step would be to do something special for her. Remind her that this is important to me and that she's important to me.

In my defense when youre in a private suite with a beautiful princess who youve fallen hopelessly in love with and neither of you know what to call what you have because youve been deluding yourself for months that youre not in love, deciding that this will be the day we celebrate pledging ourselves to one another kinda falls down to the bottom of the list of priorities

somewhere behind the existential panic you wake up with the next morning
