Though I do agree some of these are quite odd. And perhaps a tad disturbing.

Asking questions is fine. I heavily encourage it to combat ignorance. But is it really necessary to ask why blended tomatoes are not a smoothie? Or to debate whether the flavour of mint is 'cold spicy'?

Mint tastes the way it does due to a chemical released which triggers receptors on your tongue that normally indicate coldness. That is all it is.

Those are just hot, but the best way to describe mint when it's real strong is cold minty! It just makes sense when you don't know everything behind how it works!

It is superfluous to refer to it as 'cold minty' when it is already called mint, don't you think? Unlike chillis which can carry varying levels of heat, mint is simply mint.
