Why not three then? Where should it stop?

I think we could loop in a good three-step plan. Anything more than that and it starts to feel excessive, though. Less worth celebrating.

Beginning, middle, and end. That does sound promising and still worth celebrating.

Nice and methodical. Okay, so I'll amend my statement: we should really celebrate things done in two and three fell swoops more often.

I had my doubts upon reading your initial statement, but you have won me over. There is some pleasure upon seeing a plan come to fruition from beginning to end.

It's always pretty satisfying, isn't it? Nothing like a plan going off without a hitch- or with a hitch, but still successful. There's usually a bunch of hitches, in my experience.

In my experience as well. A success in spite of those setbacks is worth celebrating.

Definitely! Nothing like the rush of snatching victory from the jaws of defeat. You find yourself having a lot of setbacks, too?

I am a detective by trade. While setbacks are to be expected, even enjoyed when it enriches a puzzle, the setbacks can become tedious at times.
