Listen, you can take as long as you need to - figure it out on your own time. If they're trying to tell you to hurry up? Forget it. Nobody can tell you a time frame.

It always just seems easy to other people. I don't know.

People are messy, and complicated. Even if they don't show it. It's probably never as easy as they make it look.

[He probably needs to hear it often. It's tough, being a former Nobody on top of being a teenager. He has a complicated relationship with his emotions at the best of times.]

Yeah, they do. Most people keep that kind of thing quiet, much as they can. So they're almost putting on a show, more than anything.

I guess people have more to hide than I thought. Seems kind of...weird.

Yeah, they do. Everybody does it, and it's not always big things. Sometimes there's just some things you want to keep to yourself.

So you pretend they don't exist if someone asks about it.
