I never thought about how hard it must be to be a leviathan until now.

Do you think he gets lonely? I mean, there are tons of people living on his back, but do you think Eltrut has any real friends?

I thought about them. It would make sense that the leviathans should get along, but they're so far apart from each other sometimes! I don't think any of them can exactly use shellphones.

I've been here awhile now, and I'm sure they must have some way of communicating with one another, plus there was an expedition awhile back where a couple of them might have coordinated their efforts, but I still haven't really seen any two of them together.

They're so big, where would they even hang out? Just float next to one another in the sea?

That's true, it's not up to us to decide what someone else needs. People, including leviathans, can only decide that for themselves. Still! Can't help but wonder sometimes.
