Tentacles tear me limb from limb as if my limbs were nothing but flower petals and I the flower's center. I'm pulled deeper into the Abyss, and great red eyes watch me from the depths, the only light available. Despite my dismemberment, I am still aware of myself and the pain as the salt water fills my lungs and burns my gaping wounds. Thousands of voices invade my mind. Then razor sharp teeth tear further into my flesh, and I wake.
