What do people like on their pizza around here?
If you don't even know what pizza is, that's another thing altogether. It's bread with sauce, cheese, meat and/or veggies on it.
Permavoice
[His voice retains that level and cold boredom it always seems to have, but there's a definite rise in tone that spoke of more interest than mere curiosity. It may even sound a little like (dun dun dun) anticipation. Yes. It seems he is already planning his next pizza snatching visit. Since the last one went so well.]

Maybe, if I feel like it. Plotting your next caper?

[Pizza stealing was not a caper.]
When you next make one, you should inform this venerable one.

You’re going soft.

[He sounds a just a little huffy.
Why you gotta call him out like this?]Will you or will you not tell this venerable one when you next make pizza?
[How hard are you gonna make it for him to steal his next slice?]
no subject
You have to ask nicely first.

This venerable one would like to have some pizza when you make it.
[That counts, right?]

Of course you may, thank you for asking.

[Because she hadn't technically agreed to tell him. Yet.]

Scholars say smoked ham goes well with pineapple. Peasants scoff at pineapple.
no subject
Probably.]
There's reason you find all sorts of pork cooked with pineapple. Adds that sweet and tangy zing, and all pulls together with the cheese and sauce.
Good shit.

Usually end up with more for yourself as well.

[...She enjoyed it though, shhh.]

Still, not surprising there isn't a place around that serves pizza. Flatbrad with toppings maybe, but that could be as close as some food places get.

It's pretty rare to get pizza where I live, it's more common in urban areas. I have had it before though.
I usually prefer going with beef, teriyaki chicken or seafood, but mayo, potato and corn is pretty common where I'm from.

Even have our own box stores ruining the local rural economy.

[Young adult, but that sass will be with her until she's dead.]

The store we have is called Junes. Pronounced June-Ness. My kid loves it for some reason, and can't say it's not handy to have around, but it always feels like shopping there is a deal with the devil.
Mind if I ask when you're from?

It was the year 2005.

[ ...very smart, and good at nuanced thinking.
And oh, huh-- ]
We're not too far apart then. 2012 for me. Was your version of Earth particularly mundane or more on the supernatural side?
[ Odd question, but someone talking so casually about pizza and Walmarts just... rang as if someone grasping onto normalcy, like him. ]

I guess weaker stomachs and all can't stand to know where their food comes from.

That said, I only don’t recommend doing that for fast food places.
