Does anyone know what's the quickest way to treat nausea? I haven't been feeling well lately.

might as well let me bring you some soup so we can head off some of that panic.

[Especially when he already knows how much he would fret.]

Alright, shouldn't take me too long.

[Big Bro #2 Is coming. He will bring chicken broth and something to reduce fever, if Freminet has one! HE'S COMIN'.]

[Meanwhile, he wondered how much he should let Kaveh in and see him in this state. After all, if he saw him how bad this illness was, he would tell his brother. Should Kaveh knock on his door, it might take him a moment or two before he enters.

When Freminet does, he barely opens it. There was a small gap before wincing at his own voice.]

...Mr. Kaveh....?

[He smiles, a little gently.] Let's see what we can do to make you more comfortable, alright?

Um...

[Ah, yes, what was Freminet to do here? Was he supposed to reject his offer and leave the soup by the door or was he supposed to let him in?]

...I'm guessing if I tell you to just leave the food outside the door, you'll tell me no, aren't you?

Mhmmm. Might as well let me in, then.

[He is very cheerful about this. It is a promise and a threat, Freminet.]

[Alas, he really didn't have a choice. With a sigh, he opened the door bigger before letting Kaveh come in. Although, he couldn't help but place his hand over his mouth. Why did this have to happen?]

S-Sorry, I'm still not feeling very well....

That's okay. You don't have to apologize for being sick.

[He's putting down the thermos of soup--it's just chicken broth, he figures Freminet probably didn't want anything more hearty--and gently places a hand on Freminet's forehead.]

Do you remember anything in particular happening before you got sick? I doubt anyone from Fontaine is seasick...

[He knew Kaveh meant well but the moment he touched his forehead, it immediately backed away. Widening his eyes, he gave a cough or two. It made it even worse knowing how harsh his voice sounded]

Sorry, I'm not used to people getting closer to me like that.

[Pause.]

But I'm not sure. I know I got attacked by the mermaids and I went to the volcanos...

[Kaveh holds his palms up. See? No more touchy, we're good.]

More like I got bitten by one.

[He said before pointing to the bite mark on the side of his left leg. While it had healed some, it still looked fresh.]

It doesn’t hurt anymore but that’s all I can think of why I might be sick.

...That might be what's most likely.

[He looks down at the wound, and his brow furrows.] I'm not much of a doctor or healer...have you seen anyone about it?

I was going to...

[He said before looking downward.]

But then I got sick and I haven't found the time to look for one.

...I don't really know much beyond basic first aid.

[He doesn't even know anybody with a healing vision. As for people here...He's not sure either.

He kind of wishes he'd gotten healing magic, from his tattoo.]

That may be why you got sick so suddenly.

Perhaps...

[He said with a groan before holding back his stomach. He could feel an urge of nausea that was coming up and suddenly found himself covering his mouth once more.]

I'm sorry, I think I need to sit down. This isn't going away anytime soon.

Please, sit if you need to. This is about your health, not my comfort.

[He's thinking for a long moment.]

Freminet, I have an idea, but only if you're alright with what I'd have to do.

[He didn't waste any time and simply sat down. But once he did?]

Um....what is it?

[He wasn't going to regret this, was he?]

I can take a picture of the wound to go ask a healer here what can help with it. You won't have to talk to them at all, but I'm not sure we want to ignore that.

And if we already have instructions, when Lyney finds out--I'm not going to tell him but he will find out--there's already a set of things for him to do to help calm him down. Sound like a plan?

[He didn't mean to but he winced at the fact that his brother was going to know. But he didn't have a choice. It was either tell Kaveh now and that Lyney could help him or face his (imagined) wrath later.]

...I guess so. I don't think I have a choice unless I want to make you or my brother fret even more.

[He said before looking down at the wound and gave a long sigh. How did he get himself into this mess?]

...I know. It's not very comfortable to be fretted over.

[Kaveh smiles a bit, but he'll crouch down so he can get a picture of the wound on his shellphone.]

But...I worry because I know how awful it is to be sick and injured alone. I don't want you to have to do that, even if I know you probably could.

[And then there was a long pause. It was clear that Freminet wanted to say something but he was hesitating.]

Ms. Kaveh, I'm sorry for asking but did...did my brother tell you to look out for me?

[After all, it felt weird knowing that there was someone out there who was acting very much like a caretaker right now. Outside of his own siblings, he just couldn't quite understand why someone would go out of their way to help him.]

He did. But I'd do this even if he hadn't.

[He straightens up, with a bit of a wince as his spine pops. He is too young for his bones to make those noises! (It is the fact he has the posture of a large shrimp.)]

...I know it's probably weird. You're not the first person who's thought so. But I'd like the world to be kinder than it is...and the easiest way to do that is be kind myself, you see?

[It was easier said than done. He wanted to be kind to others for the sake of having them see miracles in life. Although, when it comes to others being kind? He wasn't so sure.]

....Even if it means others taking advantage of you? I know I said it before, but I really don't understand how you can live by that.

[Even for someone like himself.]
