Help wanted for someone who can engineer a way to keep someone from sinking the second they set foot in a body of water.




And please don't say "swimming lessons" - that's not physically possible without a lot of flotation assistance.

Then you should be able to learn magicks yourself. Surely there will be something on Elah that exists to help. There are many texts there, after all.

Now who says that all magicks are ephemeral in nature? There was a type that was created where I come from that relies heavily on having the correct geometries in order to cast a spell.

Or create a construct, for that matter.

I do not claim to be an expert in arcanima, but conceptually...

In order to cast a wind based spell, conjurers must understand the nature of wind by communing with elementals. An arcanist would, essentially, come to an understanding of wind through geometric equations. One line might determine the strength of the wind while another focuses on if only one target or multiple are effected.

Thus, theoretically speaking, you could develop a spell that would keep you afloat through a mathematical understanding of what it would take to do so and then bending the elements around you to fit that understanding.

There is a field of study where I come from dedicated to understanding the energies of our star that we utilize in order to use magicks. I am a historian by trade, but even I dabble in aetherology out of... Well I suppose you could say out of necessity. Yet many make it their life's work.

Most things sound mysterious until they are dissected and explained, yes? It just takes time.

Frankly, no one did until just now. Doubt it's their fault though, most people seem like they come from a magic-heavy universe.
