Help wanted for someone who can engineer a way to keep someone from sinking the second they set foot in a body of water.




And please don't say "swimming lessons" - that's not physically possible without a lot of flotation assistance.

Like I said, just fly! This is basic energy manipulation. Even guys with the weakest power levels can do this much where I come from.

Now I don't know if I could make this, but what if you could convert or create your suit to have some kind of engine or device to help you stay afloat?

Of course if any of that malfunctions you'd be in trouble, so you'd want something to be able to get you out of the water as a failsafe.

It'd have to be strong enough to keep everything above water. Without... really hampering movement. The suit weighs about as much as me.

My mistake, I misinterpreted the question entirely. Although it does make me wonder if such an underwater suit could exist. Something lightweight with an engine of some kind perhaps.

As to staying ABOVE water, especially completely, then the suggestions of magic may be your best solution. There's not much that can defy gravity that wouldn't be so cumbersome. Yet even that would only work for a limited time, I would imagine.

There's always levitation, if you're amenable! Nothing a well-cast spell or potion can't fix, though it's not permanent, so you would need to keep a number on your person.

Indeed! Quite useful in any number of situations, though I suppose it might be an additional challenge if you've any aversion to heights in addition to water.
