Hello.

I am in need of legal advice regarding a private matter:

Is a marriage contract legally binding if one or more parties involved were under the influence of spiritual possession while it was officiated?

Unless the definition of "consummation" here differs from the one in my world, then no, the marriage has not been consummated.

How we feel about each other is not in question. We have worked that out quite clearly.

I don't feel that my concern over the potential legal ramifications of our actions is really "overthinking" it. The matter is complex, irregardless of how we feel about each other.

Now, that is incredibly sound advice. Seize the day while the day remains to be seized, yes? Perhaps our friend needs to hear a bit of that, as well, though I suppose your initial answer was... something along those lines.
