Then, if they've already moved on, I wouldn't worry about it.
[Enty has no clue how marriage works and doesn't think she'll ever be able to experience it, so her own knowledge is kind of... lacking. But...!]
Since it was meant to tie just the two of them together, not you, I really don't think it was you and whoever the other person was that's actually married, but them.

I suppose I can see your point. Many others have said the same, that my companion and I are not legally wed because we did not intend to be. It feels like it would be a flimsy excuse in the eyes of the law, but perhaps it isn't and I am worrying over nothing.
