I am in need of legal advice regarding a private matter:

Is a marriage contract legally binding if one or more parties involved were under the influence of spiritual possession while it was officiated?

Then, if they've already moved on, I wouldn't worry about it.

[Enty has no clue how marriage works and doesn't think she'll ever be able to experience it, so her own knowledge is kind of... lacking. But...!]

Since it was meant to tie just the two of them together, not you, I really don't think it was you and whoever the other person was that's actually married, but them.

[ Zelda will continue to worry about it. Sure they've moved on and their legal union doesn't mean anything in the living world, but it's the principle of the matter!

But Enty's right; Zelda should try to stop worrying about it. ]

I suppose I can see your point. Many others have said the same, that my companion and I are not legally wed because we did not intend to be. It feels like it would be a flimsy excuse in the eyes of the law, but perhaps it isn't and I am worrying over nothing.
