My thanks. [ Sardonic or not, Zelda replies sincerely. ] Given the unexpectedly-reasonable explanation that the spirit donned my body like clothing, I expect the dubious legality of my marriage will fall in my favor.

Yeah it'd be pretty awkward if the courts decided that the clothes used in a wedding also counted as being married.
(Would the bride and groom outfits be legally required to be kept together? Worn together? It's a funny train of thought, and they let their mind follow it for the moment.)
