I’ve been on my fair share of dates! And I’ve also been there to perform at some as well, so I’ve certainly got a wide range of perspectives! I find that the ones with the most heart are the ones that are the most memorable.

A trained eye can tell when something is offered with sincerity or if it's offered as an empty gesture. Consider: a flower is but a flower on its own, but what if it's offered to one's dear love? Or if you spend time making a dish from their homeworld using ingredients you've never even heard of before? It's the act of intent, driven by a wholehearted sincerity, that makes it all the more special.

After all, if you don't have that sincerity behind it, then what difference does it make if you go out with a stranger or a mere friend, as opposed to this intended of yours??
