Already regretting his decision, Eustace grimaces in disgust typing this hideous thing. But he doesn't want bothersome questions about himself and [redacted], and he knows he's out of his element here. Since he doesn't know anyone personally to ask and he definitely doesn't want [redacted] to see it, he's just going to cover all his tracks and inflict self-torture as he channels someone from his world to pretend as.thanks Beatrix he hates this so much]

[...not that Eustace probably knows what dating sims are, but that is where Futaba has gotten most of her knowledge of dating. Yes, sure she's dated someone for a while now, but that's still very new. But what she does know that isn't from a dating sim, is that doing things that the other person likes but making it special for them? Makes it more special. Doing that just because it makes them smile? Yeah. She'll even drop the obnoxious emojis... for now.]
If you just wanna see them smile because they're happy, then doing something specifically to make them happy is probably enough. As long as you're thinking of them when you make the plan, you know? Like 'oh they like eating shrimp, I'll take them out for a shrimp dinner in a nice place to eat!' Or if they like hiking, go on a hike with them after you find a nice place. You know?

[This is actually true, in her experience at least, that just doing what they can is enough. It doesn't need to be perfect, just thoughtful. While it's punctuated with ridiculous emojis (the lesson with those being someone will always make it crazier do not tempt her), it does come from the heart.]
