Warnings: Mention of death and torture. Threads are likely to end up going deeply traumatic places.
(It's a typical day on Nogard, though many people who see this might be elsewhere.
Many have probably heard by now that Chris is dead. Has been dead for several days, in fact, after being captured and tortured by Ganon.
Except... they're not?
That's definitely a shot of a very panicked looking Chris running... somewhere, not paying attention to the shellphone clutched in their hand or noticing that it's recording.
Several people can be heard yelling in surprise in the background as Chris darts past them.
...The fuck are they even running from? It doesn't sound like they're being chased.
The hand holding the shellphone bumps into something, and the video cuts out.)

Voice
Bloody hell... Can you answer at all?

In the moment Chris yeets the shellphone when they start getting messages.
Find them in person or wait til they calm down and get their phone back? Your choice.)

She tries to approach cautiously, not bothering to hide any signature that might give her away to another telepath. That seems more polite, less chance to give them a surprise. They seem startled enough. She lands carefully with a few feet of distance. A slight look of concern on her face. )
Hello, luv. I'd ask if you're alright but that seems a silly question with an obvious answer.
no subject
...Not that it'll be a long one, they pretty much woke up and started running and they are hungry, thirsty, exhausted, and pretty much pushing themself to move on will alone. Eventually, they'll try to cloak hard enough even a telepath can't sense them--key word: try--and hide.
...Fuck. She's here anyway, so that didn't work. They don't respond and do their best to pretend like they aren't there in whatever shitass nook they've crammed themself into to hide.
...It is 100% not working, they're just being a sullen, bratty child despite not actually being a child at all!)
no subject
Not that she's sure what to do when she finds him trying to hide she's not quite sure what to do. Maybe she should just leave? But that seems wrong and they seem so distraught. She kneels down, does her best to not seem as unsure as she feels. And starts with: ]
What happened?
no subject
And yet, apparently she picked the right option, because a bit of the terror they're giving off does dissipate... even if part of it becomes confusion and hostility instead.
And after a few moments, they do finally speak.)
You already saw it. On the network. (At least, Ganon's broadcast was public.
Or did she not see it.
Why is she even here?)
no subject
[ It said a lot about how much attention Ganon must need. However this is hardly the place comment on that. Even if there's a bit of anger forming in her deep down. She's well practiced at hiding such things though.
She tries to keep a sympathetic look. ]
You should get somewhere to clean up. Would you let me help you?

[ He looks and sounds truly baffled and shocked.
Maybe in a little while he'll come up with something more coherent to say, but right now that's what they get.
He saw them die. He felt them die.
(He'd thought his nightmares were bad before.)
He's not sure this will actually get their attention, but he's not sure what else to just now. He's pretty sure he recognises the street they were on, but he doubts he'd actually be able to catch up to them. ]

And even then, it's via text.)
Faulkner.
no subject
He's relieved to finally get an answer, though. Is it a good or bad sign they're using his name?
He'll switch to text since they did. ]
You're alive? What happened? Where are you?
no subject
(They don't answer the rest because they don't really know what happened and also it's none of his fucking business.
They should just avoid replying at all, but he was there. When they were rescued.)
no subject
You somewhere safe, at least?
[ If it's another long pause between messages, or they still don't say where they are, he's just going to use his ring to go to the Conservatory and see if the suit is still hanging around there. ]
no subject
None of your business.
(The fuck does he care anyway? They're the villain.
Why'd he come to help them at all?)

And wouldn't you know, denial paid off.
But what now? What does she even say? What would help them most?
She eventually makes a decision. ]
You hungry?
no subject
...Why?
no subject
I got a craving. I'll pay, obviously.
no subject
Alright.
(They don't warn her that they'll take longer than usual, or tell her about their currently missing ring.)
no subject
[ She's willing to wait as long as it takes, for them. ]
no subject
(Well, they might have taken that the wrong way. But still, they'll arrive.
Oh, look, they have a new scar. It looks like the veins in the spot Ganon touched in that video of him torturing them are all stained with gloom.)

Video
He speaks up. ]
Hey Chris. You okay? [ He's still hanging out around the Conservatory, but that's only because he hasn't figured out his ride yet. ]
Action
Well, they might have eventually, but it won't be all that long before Faulkner manages to lure them out to the Conservatory.
Not that they're intending to stick around and talk to anyone, even after he successfully gets them to linger in the strawberry garden.
They might even be pondering how to figure out a way to pack up their suit and take it home without walking it out like a pet or ask anyone gor help, actually, when they finally manage to run into him.)
no subject
Hey. [ He offers by way of greeting. ]
no subject
...Keigo.
(...They're not sure how to proceed.)
no subject
How are you doing? [ Admittedly he wasn't expecting them to call him by his name either. He doesn't know why that is, both Chris and Richie seemed to have made the switch. He doesn't find it bothersome, just confusing. Something to get used to. ]
no subject
They flinch at the question. They'd really rather not be "doing" at all.
Couldn't it just have ended there? Knowing that even if the rescue failed it had at least been considered worth the attempt?
They don't want to go home. They don't want to forget.)
Um. (They say, awkwardly.)
